Tank:17.5gals(80 litres)

Does anyone have any recommendations my tank seems so empty especially in the middle I was thinking of getting a piece of wood in the middle with mosses on it but idk tbh would that be easy to do or not? Like idk if it would be low CO2 as well any recommendations would really be helpful ngl I added some of the ones I was thinking about but I’m honestly so unsure😭but I’m going down tomorrow for some as my fish shop sells all of those ones in the second picture

Btw tank is cycled and parameters are all completely fine so decided not to include

I am getting rid of the rest of my fish before anything okay😭and just have one of these 3 bettas but idk which is best for my tank because they all look so cool

Is basically completely cycled atp or will be in like 4 days i imagine but will just have the betta on reserve till then

I have kinda everything I think I’ll need but the food which I’ll buy ik rn is not tons of plants but only planted these like 11 days ago so they’re growing trust but if yall have any recommendations for plants as well thats perfectly fine

I currently have
1 male guppy
2 rosy tetras
1 otto
Baby ram and bladder snails as well as one adult I think bladder

Thinking of adding
At least 1 more male guppy (this is because the one I have is freaking out kinda all by himself he’s not sick btw just lonely but attached pic his tail was moving not ripped)
Maybe 1 more rosy tetra but that’s not immediate concern for me

My tank is as of rn (80 litres 17.5 gallons) in a pretty good cycle it’s ammonia is going down and I’m completely on top of the water changes and everything this tank can throw my way really atp I was gonna get Java ferns and other plants but rn I am unsure as the ones I have are growing faster than i thought they would

After 3 long days and £100 lighter it’s finally done with the actual physical stuff and my chemicals are on order to come tomorrow so my fish will definitely not be harmed by 24 hours of waiting but finally can actually be proud and not be depressed every time I go into the living room and I wanna thank everyone that’s offered me advice for what to do and how to best go about this as I knew nothing about fish tanks from a week ago other than clean absolutely everything I can and shove everything back in😭

Plants and snails are officially in btw i know looks cloudy isn’t an algae bloom is just new substrate and water my water is currently clearer than this with more plants in than this photo and the fish are back in it because i simply didn’t have another option but ill be getting my test kit bacteria and sea chem sometime this week and until then my old uncleaned filter is in there anyway as well as mature plants from before and 5 pints of the old water so will definitely be fine till then

This is a part 1 as I have to put a cucumber slice in the water tonight so I can get all the baby snails out safely for when I clean everything out tomorrow and buy all the plants(I’m gonna get some grasses, an Anubis and some java ferns as well as decorations and hiding holes) but this is the basics I got and am so grateful for the amazing advice you all gave me and my dad has agreed to back off from the fishtank🥳🥳🥳🥳I also have found a light timer in my house so the light won’t be one more than 6 hours anymore

Basically my dad bought this fish tank a few years ago and i begged him not to because he wouldn’t take care of it but he got it anyway and i honestly don’t know what to do with it at all as he’s just been keeping the light on constantly (says needs to be on more than 12 hours a day) and doesn’t clean it or take care of it like i said he would and i genuinely don’t know what to do with it or like how to help these fish in this tank is like 2 pink fish can see on left and an orange guppy of some kind and a sucker fish there used to be more but my dad got bored and wanted more one had fin rot and killed the rest (which i guilty say I’m grateful for) and like i have no idea how to take care of a fish tank so any advice is like appreciated on how i can care for this tank now as I’m gonna assume it’s just mine now I’m gonna have to pay for as well.

Sorry that was long basic summary idk what to do to help this fish tank I think the light is to bright and plants keep dying and idk what to do is there anything I can buy or something I can do to improve these fishes lives please🙏
