Finally spotted the baby today, and it's not so baby anymore 💕🥺
I have to think of a name. My brothers not much help, he said Billy Mays 🤣🦨

I just can't make myself become a refresher person. Lol
I went from one to like 6 (that I know of) and I love them all. The one on the far right is Downie and is a resident mom. The others are newbies probably kits. There is also one mysterious baby kit I haven't seen yet 😭 and one with a big white cape I call Elvis (who also has a cape) that could be the one in the bottom left I can't tell. What a cutie patch 😍🦨🦨🦨🦨
I was so excited for this candle. It's a relabel of La Trouverie by MFK I'm 99 percent sure. They share over 6 of the same ingredients:
Geraniol
Citronellol
Alpha-hexyl-cinnamic aldehyde
Linalool
Linalyl acetate
Isoeugenol
I had la trouverie as well two years ago and I absolutely loved it. MFK is getting rid of that whole line of home scents and consolidating. They have a morning scent and evening scent just like Diptyque is coming out with. If you like the airy scent of hairspray sprayed 5 minutes ago lingering in the air and a touch of herbs mingling with sophisticated white smarties this is the scent for you. It's completely blended and no one scent stands out. I love a diffuse scent like that so I really love this scent and I'm glad to basically have it back in my arms although it does make me laugh. I like this better though because the vessel is frosted glass instead of opaque so that's a win!
I saw these just pop up on Amazon. Vanilla and ivy sounds like a wild combo. The rest were more tame like salty fig and rose and berries. Has this been around, anyone tried it? Or is this a stealth expansion 😄
I looked around some more and hilfiger debuted it via X on November 9, 2023

There are also a few other half-priced August and Piers Darling and Libertine and Lafco Andean myrtle, spike lavender, pumpkin seed and sandalwood and geranium bourbon.
Nutmeg giving me the look while waiting for me to take her outside impatiently
I saw someone else in the subreddit got the papier d'Arménie candle and it put it back on my radar. I found out the Boston general store has it in stock so I went in to give them all a sniff. My favorites in order are rose, traditional, and arménie. The rose is sweet, powdery, a touch fruity, and overall smells very pink just like the label. Like crushed smarties with a beautiful warm smooth benzoin base. The traditional green label candle is moreso just the base, smooth resin scent but not nearly as sweet. The blue label arménie is more of a cleaner soft baby wipes smell but that could change a little while burning, I know it has herbs in it - myrrh, sage, lavender, and cedarwood. Maybe the lavender is giving it a little soapiness. I might end up getting it anyway someday because I love that blue label it has 🤣 I love all their labels really. I did some digging on Amazon and IG and they changed their label last year. An Amazon seller has a cheaper one for 40 but I didn't want to risk getting an older label because I love this one so much, it's so pretty.
I just started burning it next to me and it smells amazing just a pink sweet cloud of happiness. The resin keeps it from being too sweet. My only gripe if there was one is that if someone handed this to me blind I don't think I would say it smells like a straightforward rose. I'm not sure I would guess rose at all honestly because it's so well blended with some fruity aspects. It's very nondescript and more like an overall feeling. Thanks kurkdjian for another banger.
P.S. it doesn't come with a lid but I plopped my diptyque lid on top cause it fits and doesn't she look nice.
When I pick it up in my hand it feels like better times 😂
It's so adorable! And keeps my hands from getting cold eating ben&Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie :-)
Nutmeg cancelled her loaf immediately.
