I’m not religious but it looks nice to me.

I don’t believe in the trinity. Think hell is unfair because people’s religion is determined by environment. Pro gay marriage. Have feelings about the god of the Old Testament. I think religion causes division and hinders critical thinking.

But It looks nice to have faith and the community of people you see in some religions. It’s nice to have direction, faith, hope, certainty, purpose, a god, and community.

I think religion looks like a positive thing for its believers, part of me wants to be but I don’t believe in any.

Month after ending a toxic relationship.

No contact for about a month. The first weeks was the hardest. Second week still hurt but not as bad. Third & fourth week gradually getting better day by day.

The one thing I’ve notice is this. I miss that person and I miss the feelings. But my life is more peaceful and a lot better.

I’m comparing it to a drug. I miss the high. But overall my life is less sad and stressed. I know it was the right and I’m happy I’ve came this far.

There’s a lot of reasons. But I wouldn’t want to be with me either

There’s nothing wrong with me. But I’m just antisocial and boring. I mostly work and I don’t really do anything to have fun. My hobbies are boring. I’m a little biotch too.

And I’m not even upset I’m just thinking of reasons why we shouldn’t be together and this is one of them.

As much as I am aware of the bad. I think Jw is a good thing for some.

Just like any other religion it gives people faith, hope, community, structure, certainty, purpose and a sense of happiness

I see a lot of happy witnesses and some people who really benefit a lot from being a witness.

I wish they took accountability and apologized.

Stop saying they are the appointed religion and say they’re just trying their best and told their members the doctrines are interpretation and not facts

Got rid of the transfusion doctrine

Valued human rights and love over shunning

What do you think about the amount of literature written on Jesus for his time

Do you believe Jesus existed? I was watching an argument for the credibility of Jesus and one that makes sense is the amount written about him which is uncommon for his time especially for someone who wasn’t important like a king, he was a common man.

Trying to understand what I was in.

I was in a relationship

When I first saw her I was very nervous and drawn towards her. I still feel the same way about her even now. Before we dated it was like a debilitating crush and like my focus was on her completely, I couldn’t stop thinking about her even if i tried, it was obsession.

To be fair, she’s magnificent and remarkable and everyone sees her that way.

When we dated it felt good but it never felt calm.

The highs were intense. They felt exciting and really good but it was almost like a nervousness and the best way of describing is a drug.

When we had problems and the lows were awful.

We were attached but it never felt easy and it always felt like something was off.

She has spot on traits of an “advoidant” and I think I leaned “anxious”. I wanted connection and to be more of a priority she was very independent and busy. And it felt like if I leaned into the relationship it would make her pull away.

To summarize. There was strong attraction. But some fundamental things were missing like connection and emotional safety. We were both very different. She was also unsure about the relationship due to different religious beliefs, maybe the reason for lack of commitment.

This is the simplest way of describing the relationship, what is this???

The Jehovah witness religion is more about the Jehovah witness religion, than it is about Christianity

I’m not a Jehovah witness, but I’ve been to conventions and meetings and the thing that stood out to me the most is about how the religion focuses more on the religion itself.

The Christian churches I’m used to focuses on Jesus and God and worship and teaching people scriptures and increasing peoples faith.

But every time I’ve ever been to a Jehovah witness meeting or convention a large focus on it was about the credibility of the organization. And trying to persuade people to have faith or feel good about being in the organization. As well as just reinforcing their teachings and control.

To me it was like, are we focusing on God here are we focusing on the organization?

It’s still the closest religion.

What would you say to someone that still believe in the Bible and they believe it’s the best organized religion as following the Bible to a T even to a fault.

Not looking for “the Bible is false”. We’re not there yet sorry.
