4cyl engine. Broken stud is at the very end. All 6 others are intact. Safe to drive still?
How should i go about fixing it? The head is aluminium but I dont have a welder. Do i dare try to drill it out or should i leave it to someone with a welder and more experience? Engine is still in the car btw.
And if you've never changed manual gearbox oil i dont want to hear your opinion.
I just replaced the oil pressure switch on my b205e due to oil leaking. Used a new oem switch. On the first drive after replacing it the oil pressure lamp would briefly light up from time to time after driving for a while. Anyone had this problem?
Never ever saw the light before replacing the switch. Oil level is good and the pickup being clogged seems unlikely since its a late model year (latest pcv) and the oil has always been changed at 15000km, and twice as frequent the last 5-6 years. Current mileage is 230,000km
Assuming its a car you want to keep. How would you treat this surface rust in the trunk floor?
First option would be to try and remove all rust and do a proper paintjob (hella labor intensive)
Second option would be to simply spray oil/wax (like Fluid Film) once a year or so.
I have been sandblasting some other areas of the car but am not very willing to do it much more since it sucks ass to do.
The car will not be driven in the winter moving on.
2k clear.
