Mower Recommendation?

I have a lot that is about 9000 sq ft per Zillow (including house). It has a hill that is pretty large in the back yard. It takes me about an hour to cut it with a gas mower.

I'm trying to determine what my investment would be to be able to mow the same space and if Ryobi is up to the task. It seems like EGO is the most recommended brand for cordless mowers, but the price is insane. I have a lot of 18V Ryobi stuff that has been pretty good to me, and warranty issues have been mostly easy to resolve, so I have been curious about Ryobi's mowers.

Suggestions? Thoughts? Issues? How many batteries and what size can reasonably get through a yard of my size?

Greenworks 60V 21" Self Propelled Lawn Mower with (1) 8.0 Ah Battery & Rapid Charger -- Question

Seeing this at my local Walmart for a reasonable price. My lot (according to Zillow) is about 9200 SQ ft. It had a pretty large hill in the back that I usually cut in two sections, going up and down for a few passes on each side and then working in a spiral at the top part and the bottom part to cut down on the amount of climbing I have to do.

How much grass can I reasonably cut with an 8 AH battery with a hill like that? I have a hill and a rather awkward ditch that has some steep sections to cut.

Right now it takes me about an hour or less with a gas mower to cut my yard. The mower is self propelled, but it's so old and the tires are so bald that I feel like I'm doing more work than the mower.

I keep wanting to switch to electric, but the price of batteries alone makes me cringe. I can get by on about $10 worth of gas a summer, which is a lot less than batteries cost. When I saw this mower, I looked up the battery itself to see how much a replacement costs and its the same price $350.

Trying to mount blink doorbell cam on uneven molding.

I have a storm door mounted to some decorative wood trim that does not provide a flat surface. I'd like to mount the doorbell to that trim, but since it's not flat straight across (it's more of a decorative curve across the service), I am not sure how best to get the camera to mount flush.

Is there some sort of rubberized or semi-soft molding strip that could be placed between the camera and the wood to fill in the gaps between the base of the doorbell and the wood I intend to screw it into? I've looked on Amazon but all I can find is hard plastic mounts at an angle.

What's up with the cost?

I am a Diet Dr. Pepper addict, preferring the 16.9 OZ bottles. What used to reliably be $4 or less on sale now rarely reaches that level. Can prices are often more insane.

Is there a reason for the way the costs have jumped on what is essentially flavored water? While sales do exist, they're harder to find, and often only cut the price to about double what you used to pay for soda.

Even generic soda is expensive compared to what it used to be.

Amazon Prime -- From Two Day Shipping Guaranteed to.... You Might Get It

In the past couple of months it seems like multiple items I've purchased that are supposed to come within a couple of days mysteriously have their arrival dates pushed back without any explanation.

I know Amazon will give you a discount if you pick a less aggressive arrival date on a lot of items, so I'm wondering if Amazon is simply letting dates slip on purpose to save itself some money on delivery costs.

Need Recommendations for Robot Vacuums

House with two adults and four cats, with vinyl flooring on our main level. Looking primarily for something that can vacuum, can easily map out areas to avoid and/or does a good job of dodging cords/cat toys/etc. Mopping SOUNDS nice, but isn't critical, especially since the primary mopping that needs to be done is usually a cat hairball/food stain that usually takes a lot of elbow grease to pick up by the time it dries. (Although, if mopping works well, I'd be okay with it).

Looking for something under $300. See the Roborock Q7 M5 seems to be in this range, but see very mixed reviews for it. Currently have two cheap Eufy vacuums that are essentially dumb bump and run vacs that tend to get stuck a lot.

The last few pizzas I've gotten from PH since the new garlic crust have been flavorless. Did something else change besides the crust?

Who runs Louisville?

In your mind, who are the REAL power brokers in Louisville? What individuals, companies, or institutions run the city, for better or worse?

Do they have the best interests of the city at heart?

Oxmoor Mall Grand Opening and CJ Ad: February 7, 1971

I didn't realize that I'm just a tad younger than Oxmoor Mall, and that Oxmoor Ford was a the name before Sam Pottinger Ford (which is where my parents bought their 1977 Grand Torino Station Wagon).

From the 8/1/78 Courier Journal. For some reason I thought J-Mall was older than that.

Tipping Enshittification

I miss the days when tipping was for extra service provided beyond putting your order on the counter or in a bag.

Now it seems like every app and every credit card machine asks you if you want to tip before anyone's done anything.

That leads me to wonder where exactly that money is going and who exactly is keeping track of the fact that the money tipped actually reaches the hands of the people serving the customer?

What exactly is the tip for if I've done all the work to enter my order and ultimately I have to check my order to make sure it's right when I pick it up?

Edited to add:

Yes, I realize it's optional, and I've gotten over the guilt factor guiding my tipping choices, but I do think it's worth asking, especially in an industry where owners and management are infamous for stealing from employees, where is that money actually going?

I’ve had AT&T for years because I hated Sprint and Verizon had bad service in our area many years ago. AT&T is pricy and doesn’t seem to be doing decent upgrade deals like they used to.

Any suggestions for a decent carrier?

Seems like it used to be a somewhat big deal with actual celebrities. I didn't even know it happened this year until I googled it and the "celebs" were mostly local people affiliated with the Derby.

Is the Derby Festival going down the tubes?
