cptsd and autoimmune disease

I am based in the UK.
I have had a couple of blood tests so far but it seems like nothing has been found. I suspect lupus or ME/CFS or something like that.
I certainly have had alopecia for several years now and I also have sun rashes on very sunny days.
Since I got severely retraumatised early this year, my health has worsened. Could CPTSD trigger other autoimmune diseases? It is very frustrating because I know my body is not normal and I am suffering but GPs and blood tests do not say much. If possible, I need to get a diagnosis so that I can use such a medical record as part of my legal claim. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I honestly do not know where to vent but I just find that this subreddit is the right place to do it.

Do you know you can get re-traumatised from a past series of experiences when you are actually good at connecting dots? While working at a store, my performance was scrutinised by managers. Anyone who was involved in decision-making was an idiot. I am just shocked by how many idiots I was surrounded by and they all attacked me without any justifiable reasons. I am talking about a corporation’s HR. I mean, I dealt with a couple of HR people but HR people seem to be the same idiots or even worse. The other managers’ subjective and random negative reviews to push me out were something you should face as part of discrimination and harassment if you are not white in a white country. I get that. But when you found out what HR said to the manager about such a problematic performance review, that’s another level of telltale.
HR literally said that “oh, that’s very thorough to the manager”. These people may have thought that I would feel so humiliated from such a negative experience. No, I am so appalled by these people’s stupidity?! Anyway, it is hard to keep my sanity when people around me always make stupid decisions without questioning their intelligence or professionalism. Possibly I would have done a better job than these people. Narcissistic people would never know what their job is and would tell me that I am crap at everything.

Legal professions seem to be extremely narcissistic

I have an ongoing litigation issue so I often ask questions or make comments on others’ posts on a legal subreddit. But some people seem to be deliberately downvoting my posts and replies vengefully. My conclusion is that someone who doesn’t have a law degree cannot deal with litigation issues and is also stupid, basically, they are more knowledgeable and absolutely right. And I am an idiot. This is one of the reasons I cannot 100% trust lawyers. When it comes to any kind of dispute or problem-solving, empathy, understanding and trust are the most important parts, not just a law degree or all the jargon itself. Clients should question their lawyers as well when they try to persuade clients or assert their opinion over clients’ rather than trying to understand their situation. They do not understand what one experienced and how damaging it could be. I also advise not to speak to lawyers who make their clients feel like idiots. They are def narcissists and they assume that clients just want quick big money from the litigation or a liar. I came across some online solicitors who accused me of such a thing.

I just cannot tolerate Gen Z

I am in my 40s and yeah, I may look younger than my white counterparts and speak less authoritatively. Everywhere I go, people make me feel like I am an alien. I don’t belong here I don’t fit in here, etc. In particular, I am so tired of Gen Z’s attitude and behaviour overall. I came across many social media posts and news articles about these issues at universities and workplaces. They have no work ethic, critical thinking, or moral standards whether they are rich or poor. As a parent, I feel like I need to claim over a million pounds against my ex-employer because of Gen Z managers’ disgusting and unprofessional behaviours so my child won’t be the bottom of the rung of this social hierarchy game. It is so hard to find people who show respect, integrity, humility and a collaborative mindset.
It’s the second time I experienced mobbing by Gen Zs. Technically, the first one was initiated by a mental female professor who was deceptive, and this time I believe it was another female manager. That is why I started believing in narcissism and the dark triad personality. Especially, in the UK, lots of people in power or with status seem to have some kind of mental disorder but people do not see that as a disorder but as a personality. I am unsure whether the environment and culture condone such behaviour or whether a high number of people with dark triad personality traits live here. Due to trauma, I think I became disabled but I have not been formally diagnosed yet. Honestly, I don’t feel sorry for the low employment issues for young people when the majority of Gen Zs are all entitled, delusional and unprofessional. The other day, I had a phone call for a survey regarding the outcome of higher education. The surveyor sounded like a quite young woman but showed zero empathy and I actually heard she sneered at my unfortunate situation after I explained that I am not in the mood for it now but kept trying to push me to take part in it. Bugger! Perhaps I should’ve shouted at her so we felt threatened?! When I spoke calm and nicely no, these stupid people just want to keep poking others to see a reaction? I am sure they will make our society more prosperous and equal for everyone. Yes, they are one of the dear future generations.

Can you beat narcs at debate?

I’m not originally from the UK. While helping my child with their schoolwork, I noticed that the curriculum places a strong emphasis on subject-specific vocabulary across many subjects, including art and maths.
When I was growing up, the focus was more on problem-solving and understanding concepts than on memorising technical terminology. I’m not saying one approach is better than the other, but it is a noticeable difference.
If one person is fluent in all and confident while the other is not, it’s easy for the discussion to become one-sided. The other person may simply nod along because they can’t fully follow what’s being said.
I’ve also noticed that some people use unnecessarily complicated language or constantly change the subject to dominate conversations rather than communicate clearly. Instead of helping others understand, they seem more interested in appearing knowledgeable or making someone else feel less competent. How they operate is more political than they are better than me at work.
After experiencing this repeatedly, I’ve become much more reluctant to engage in conversations with people who seem to treat every discussion as a competition rather than an opportunity to exchange ideas. Anyway, they mostly value themselves and their ideas over mine. ha-

DWP sent me text messages despite my not being actively engaged with them.

Due to political rhetoric against immigration and unresolved traumatic workplace issues, I was largely bed-bound and I kinda gave up on applying for PIP. Although I received the form from DWP, I did not send it back. However, I got a text message from DWP that they would phone me for a phone assessment yesterday.
My situation is a bit tricky and I also found out that PIP cannot be considered as a mitigation of loss over a legal dispute so I just applied for ESA online today as a means of proof for mitigation of loss. I am currently struggling with cptsd which I was diagnosed with, anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue. Are there any people who are in a similar situation to me? Can I apply for two at the same time? If I win the case at the tribunal, will the judge order the respondent to pay back the benefits as well? In that case, I kinda want to apply for all the benefits I am entitled to.

disability impact statement

I kinda stopped logging my symptoms after I submitted ET1. I am not even sure when I will hear back from the tribunal. It’s been over 4 months since I received ET3. At the moment, I have chronic fatigue which hinders me from doing ordinary trivial house chores. It doesn’t mean I cannot do any but I need frequent rest between those. I am also completely withdrawn socially. Due to repeated workplace trauma, I am not planning to apply for a job. It is extremely frustrating because my blood tests do not say much about my symptoms even though I am suffering from chronic fatigue. I may speak to my GP again but I am quite pessimistic about any meaningful diagnosis atm. I am 100% sure that what I am experiencing is a trauma response. Without a doctor’s diagnosis, is it valid to claim that I may have disability? Or is it still accepted at the tribunal? Should I keep logging what I am experiencing? Whether it is neurological or psychological, it is very frustrating.

[England] Is this journey meant to be this isolating?

I really appreciate AI. I don’t know how I would be able to get this far without it. Some legal experts try to convince me that discrimination is hard to prove rather than asking what happened to me, or they ignore my emails when I ask for help. Due to a previous experience with malicious bullying via emails that disappeared after I checked them (by the way, these happened from a university professor and a lecturer) I frequently check whether my emails with the ex-employer are still in my mailbox, and I feel relieved after that.
I really do not feel like I am safe with anyone. This is the most damaging part of my life. I don’t feel like I want to talk about this with other people much, although I am doing it with random online people here. I wonder if any vulnerable people who are an immigrant, a woman or a disabled person are targeted by multiple narcissistic individuals? How should I make my experiences sound damaging without using narcissistic individuals? It is my lived experiences, but judges are not victims who have experienced narcissistic abuse. I feel like my repeated experiences could only be explained by spirituality or some kind of gangstalking. However, neither of them sounds normal but rather quite deranged.

As per my previous post, I am going to ask for inclusion of a personal injury claim to the judge during PH. Would it be worth talking about narcissism in the legal setting? Psychologists would understand it, but I am not even sure how to approach this to the judge. Does any of you have any suggestions?

Can you go on holiday somewhere?

Everybody seems to go somewhere abroad, but I am so exhausted with chronic fatigue; I have zero motivation and energy for planning and going outside of my house. I thought about going to the beach, but heck, the people and noise will kill me with sensory overload. If I were super rich, I might go to a luxury villa to enjoy the scenery and relaxation, but I cannot handle an ordinary beach. How about Interlaken in Switzerland? I have been there once a very long time ago. I want to find a place where I get less overwhelmed and irritated by people. The problem with Switzerland is the food. I don’t know... Everythjng is exhausting with CPTSD.

headache from narcissistic abuse

It is not a brain zap, but my severely traumatised brain struggles with headache and disorientation, lightheadedness and so on. It feels like my head is actually damaged inside, although I was not physically assaulted or anything. For the last couple of months, I was having a brain zap from SSRIs, and I am rarely having it now. I can tell this is not a brain zap but some kind of brain injury. I also have chronic fatigue, and I do not feel much about anything (anhedonia). I am not sure if someone could guide me in the right direction about my symptoms. My head is so twisted and messed up because of the intricacy of narcissistic abuses. Should I contact my GP and ask about the possibility of having an MRI Scan or something with a neurologist?

Are you guys all mathematicians?

Has learning more maths or statistics actually made you a more profitable trader?
Are there any traders here who rely more on qualitative analysis than quantitative models?
Most technical indicators are ultimately based on fairly straightforward mathematical formulas, so I don’t use advanced maths in my own strategy. That said, June was one of the most volatile months I’ve traded through, and it made me wonder whether a stronger background in statistics or probability could help me manage risk more effectively. Haha.

Has anyone heard about Catherine Liu?

She seems to be great in the way she elaborates about trauma, modern workplace cultures, but largely, cultural issues in our society globally. It really resonates with me. I think her talk is quite fascinating and aligns with my experiences. I mean, I have seen many people complain about their sick bosses and people on Reddit, X and other social media platforms. What’s your opinion about her and her work? As I am struggling mentally and cognitively due to stress and trauma, I rely on her talks on YouTube. If you have not seen her talk, look it up on YouTube.

[England] Personal injury

I am waiting to hear back from the tribunal after I received the ET3 more than a couple of months ago.
I am considering hiring a barrister for hearings or at least for the final hearing. In terms of personal injury (in my case, psychiatric injury due to repeated workplace trauma and its implications on my mental and physical health), do I need to hire another solicitor for this claim? I have not submitted my SOL or anything yet.

infantilization

Honestly, I am a very mature person, but lots of people here show little respect, and they think they are smarter or superior, so I often feel like I am less than them. But I know that lots of those people actually talk quite nonsense, but they will say whatever they want to say to assert their dominance. I am happy and find peace on my own. These days, I am struggling with the incompatibility between my family and me. Of course, I am sure it is just a joke or tease using sexist comments, but sometimes I am more cautious that how and what they speak could actually affect how they perceive the world. I don’t know, I am just hypervigilant for everything, which makes me so exhausted all the time. Every day is in survival mode.

What happens if a barrister or solicitor doesn’t turn up at a hearing?

In my home country, there was a case in which a lawyer did not turn up for the hearings on behalf of the plaintiff. Not just one time but three times. I don’t think it was negligent, but deliberate sabotage against her client. FYI, this is not an employment tribunal case, but a civil court case. Anyway, I am really baffled by how the plaintiff could completely rely on her lawyer and did not follow up promptly at the same time. I do not want to upset solicitors or barristers here, but I have some trust issues because of repeated trauma. I know my case better than anyone else, and I cannot let my lawyer determine my case’s outcome. Anyway, is it even possible for such a case to happen where the plaintiff’s lawyer does not even do their duty for their client at hearings?
Does this mean that the clients should monitor their lawyers all the time? How do we prevent this kind of issue as a client?

Pattern analysis is not always right

Anyone else buy $ABBV yesterday?
I made a pretty crazy decision and bought it when it was already at an all-time high. As the day went on, I noticed what looked like a double-top pattern and started sweating, thinking I’d bought at the worst possible moment. Classic FOMO?!
For a while, it looked like there was no chance of a recovery as the price kept drifting lower. Then, right before the market closed… wow. If you were watching the candles, you probably know exactly what I mean. It was an absolute adrenaline rush.
Did I miss something, or was that just an incredible late-day reversal?
In the end, anyone who held their shares instead of panic-selling ended up making an even better profit.

Has anyone watched Breaking Bad?

I watched several shorts from YouTube. The main character, who was a chemistry teacher, became a drug dealer and a gangster to make money for his family. My husband told me that I would not like it because of too much violence. I am mentally stressed, struggling to control my emotions and feelings. Would the show be likely to make me upset? I just liked the thought-provoking story about a man who chose evil for his family, as he is terminally ill.

I hate everything right now

I know it is scorching hot, but it is ridiculous that schools here do not even have air conditioning systems, so they send kids back home early for health and safety. I am not originally from the UK, and when I was a secondary student, more than 20 years ago, we had an air conditioning system in every classroom. We ground ourselves for studying 24/7 at the school. Augh- The government subsidised schools so that the future generation could focus on studying. I am a foreigner, so I cannot even complain this because the British people will automatically be super defensive about how great their country is. Austerity? It’s 2026!!!! You mean corruption is acceptable for the upper class, or rich people but poor or immigrants are framed as if we caused all the problems here. Aaah- it’s hot, I want to get an air conditioner but I am scared of the utility bills. Nothing is ok. I need to become a billionaire to survive here and keep my sanity.

People who say money doesn’t make you happy are bigots or dumb.

Money may not make you happy, but at least it won’t make you constantly worried, stressed, or feel suicidal with financial distress. These people who say this always have more than most people could have, and show off what they can afford because of their rich parents or grandparents, and then tell us that we did not study hard enough or work hard enough to get rich. Anyway, happiness has nothing to do with money, so just don't even dream about it and be happy with where you are and what you have. And then, they will buy all the nice things they want and tell their friends or family that poor people are so pathetic that they do not know how to save money, so the vicious cycle continues with them. They do not know that their privilege, connection, and generational wealth were able to make them more successful, not because they genuinely work harder. Money will make me very happy, and I am not a bigot like you. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

Are any women here the main earners in their households because of trading?

It’s my dream to become a full-time trader. I’m still learning, but thanks to the recent momentum in semiconductors and AI, I’ve managed to make profits fairly consistently so far.
I don’t trade put options or futures because I’m quite risk-averse. At the moment, I’m trying to figure out how to generate more consistent profits.
Anyway, are there many female traders here? What is your lifestyle like? Are any of you the primary breadwinners in your households?
