Antibiotic resistance?

So I was thinking about this the last week, I’m in pre med rn so I’m not that educated about this yet, but I learnt that you can develop antibiotic resistance by taking antibiotics for viral infections and just in general taking antibiotics when not needed, but my question is how can the bacteria develop resistance that way when they’re not even in contact with the antibiotic at that point, like for example I take an antibiotic for a viral infection, how can the bacteria develop resistance at that point if they’re not present in my body when I took the antibiotic for the viral infection (I rlly hope you guys are understanding what I’m saying) 😭😭 can someone pls explain this to me

can’t rewatch

Imo encanto is one of the hardest movies to rewatch because it literally starts off with mirabel singing about how admirable and wonderful her family is and you can tell how much she loves them and knowing how they’re so indifferent to her literally just breaks my heart

Always pads

Ok so apparently more women don’t know this, but always pads are like extremely harmful.
I used them like once or twice and it genuinely gave me rashes and irritation and shit and it was HORRIBLEE, and I thought i was the only one but apparently this happened to many many other women and they investigated always pads and they put a bunch of harmful chemicals in those pads and some women even got like yeast infections and stuff from them which is insanity
So just a caution don’t use those pads cus they’re harmful asffff

Pathway to becoming a medical malpractice lawyer?

As the title said.
I already know that I’m gonna do a bachelors in medicine degree, but what do I do after that, cus I’ve seen some differing opinions. Someone told me I should do a bachelors in law after the bachelors in medicine and other people said I should do a PHD in medical forensics first, so I’m just confused. Can anyone pls kindly guide me

Braun pro 5 vs Philips lumea

So I’ve been getting laser on my face for the past few months and it’s yielded wonderful results, but I’m unable to go get laser every month like it’s not feasible for me and I can’t stick to the routine so I’ve decided to buy an at home laser machine.
For context I have pretty dark and thick hair (courtesy of my father’s genes) and I intend to use the device all over my body. I’ve heard good things about both the Braun pro 5 and the Philips lumea but I’d like more opinions so I can make a well informed decision. If you’re a dark skinned girl especially with dark thick hair who’s used these devices plspls do tell me which is better and if you guys know any laser machines other than Braun and Philips that I should consider feel free to recommend those too

Do back tattoos really fully hide bruises/scars?

So I’m writing a character who has bruises and scars esp on her back but also has a full back tattoo,
Disclaimer I do not have tattoos so idk if having bruises/scars in the area of the tattoo are things a tattoo artist would turn you away from.
But my question is can medical professionals still see the scars/bruises in the case that they’re covered with a large tattoo? And if so how? Is it just general medical expertise that yk they’re professionals so they can or do they have some specific method?
