Feces

Do people go to Menards to literally just F up the bathrooms and find a way to get crap everywhere? I have never seen another retail establishment where it's common for people to crap on the floor, the seat, and the walls.

Extended Warranty Type

I have a 2024 Crosstrek. Bought it with the Subaru Added Security 7yr/100k mile plan. It simply says it is a SAS agreement type. Online and the app both say the same thing.

Is there any way to figure out what type of warranty this is? I'd look at my paperwork, but I'm currently in a tow truck. I'm more wondering if there is a way to see if it is Gold or Classic, I think.

Thank you.

Angry Employee

My local Culvers opens at 10 am. When I went in at 10:05, one of the employees on the line loudly exclaimed, "why the hell would anyone be here this early?" Is this the general sentiment? Am I weird for wanting to get onion rings at 10am?

Uh... Toys

So, Walmart and Lowes already sell a certain type of toy... and here we are selling trains. When are we gonna modernize and sell *those* toys?

Community Events? [location doesn't matter][US]

Renters, I would like to pick your brains.

I have just acquired a 300+ door 'luxury' complex for my portfolio. They're currently spending $7-9k per year on community events, everything from movie nights, pool parties, holiday meals, Monday doughnuts, etc.

As renters, do you all actually care about things like this? Or would you rather see the money put into improving amenities? Or even somewhere else?

This is a huge change for me, because it is my first complex of this magnitude.

All Accounts Paid Off

All of my spouse's accounts are about to be paid off in the next 2 months. My spouse has an 820 credit score. Each of these accounts is the oldest account on record (student loans 10 years, car 5 years, etc.). These are being paid off on time, not early, so no real wiggle room to delay them from being closed. The next oldest account is 2 years old.

What steps can be taken to make sure my spouse's credit score doesn't plummet, or what can we do to rebuild it quickly?

Thanks.

Political Stickers

Why do some Uber drivers find it acceptable to have political stickers on or in their cars? Do you not think that can impact tips/ratings?

I'm curious more than anything.

Edit: The fact that multiple people have sent me the RedditCareResources to me... really illustrates that a problem exists.

Temporary Furnished Leasing

Short background. I've been in property management for 20 years, but have never done short-term furnished property rentals and business space rentals. I've just acquired (bought) a building downtown in a larger midwestern city. It's near a university and hospital, which bring in a lot of temporary and traveling workers. I've reached out to acquaintances in this sector and other sectors who said this is something that is really needed.

What are the pitfalls to watch out for? Any additional precautions to take?

Where?!?!

In these trying times of "just a little more" and fights in the Chipotle... where is our hero? Where is Newppinpoint?
