Has anyone reimaged their MicroPC devices, using the supplied GPD isos? They work, but have Chinese locale bits everywhere. Is there a way to change this to another language?

I own a GPD MicroPC 2. It comes with Windows 11 Home. Via the GPD website I have downloaded the Windows 11 Pro iso. I will follow their instructions to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.

My question is licencing. Does this iso give me an official licensed copy of 11 Pro?

Also, if I choose to mount the iso in windows 11 home, and install that will ... Would that work?

I own a Sony Xperia 1 VII. It suddenly shutdown and continually loads the Sony logo, then reboots. Hoding the power and volume up for 30 seconds made the phone vibrate 3 times, howver I cannot get it to progress past the Sony logo. EEK!!!!

Can anyone help?

GPD MicroPC 2 new user here.

Interesting device. Quite a capable beast! Where can I get drivers for it please? The Google drive links on the GPD website don't work for me.

I have installed Immich onto my Synology NAS, via SynoCommunity. This installs everything in a simple way.

The main Immich folder that gets created is: /immich-media on the mail storage pool.

Question: How do add extra folders? I am not sure I understand the full folder syntax/notation needed.

On my Garmin Fenix watch, there's an option to save current location. Some questions:

• How do I get to view a list of my save locations?
• Can I sync them with Garmin Connect/Online?

I recently reinstalled Dia. As I went through the login process I noticed a couple of things:

• You are asked to enter in your work email address.
• There is then a page asking you to log into your Atlassian Cloud account.

Feels to me that Dia is to be focussed on Enterprise/Work users. Or am I misreading all of this?

I own a Reolink E1 Zoom indoors camera. I would like to record the entrance to my home from indoors, as I can't easily mount an external camera.

I understand this is tricky, as there's reflections etc.

Any hints and tips to make it work as best as it can? Or, if I purchased a Reolink Argus MagiCam, might that be better?

Am new to this group. I love small form factor laptops. Love the engineering needed to make these small things work. Geeky I know.

I have been a fan of the original GPD Pocket 1 and then 2 mini laptops.

My budget is limited to around £350 or so. What would you all recommend if I wanted something akin to the GPD Pocket 3 or 4, in terms of looks and build quality?

I own a Synology NAS. For many reasons am considering migrating was to Qnap. I have some questions:

• Do Qnap devices support audio transcoding? .flac to, say, .mp3 to support old DLNA audio players.
• Can I sync NAS files to Microsoft OneDrive?

Am tempted by the Qnap TS-433. What do we think to this unit?

I now own a Fenix 8 47mm Titanium Sapphire. Curious if anyone has found/bought a leather strap that matches it's aesthetics?

Has anyone moved from a Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar to a Fenix 8 Sapphire? Or maybe more moving from a MIP based screen to AMOLED?

I sold my 7 Pro for a used 8. Not sure if I like the AMOLED screen technology. Maybe am suffering from buyers remorse?

My NAS is not not supported by Synology. Which newer device would you all recommend? THe DS925+ seems ultra expensive to me.
