Save Moon Camp - help protect eagle habitat
Save Moon Camp is a $10 million fundraising campaign launched by the Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV) and the San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust (SBMLT) to purchase and permanently preserve over 62 acres of land near Big Bear Lake, California. The initiative aims to stop the Moon Camp development, a proposed luxury housing and marina project that threatens the habitat of the famous bald eagle pair Jackie and Shadow, as well as rare species like the San Bernardino flying squirrel and the Ash-gray Indian Paintbrush.
