Question for you guys : If consciousness is nothing more than physical brain activity, how does a purely objective description of neurons explain the subjective experience of pain, color or thought?

A Muslim asking

If our perception of reality is always filtered through the human brain then how can we know that reality is actually the way we experience it

what independent standard do we have to distinguish objective reality from a perfectly convincing perception of it

i’ve seen many atheists ask this question here so here’s my reply from my side respectfully with no hate or disrespect towards anyone

if god created everything then who created god?

you’re smuggling everything into the premise the argument was never that everything that exists has a creator it’s that things which begin to exist or depend on something else require an explanation if god is defined as a necessary uncaused reality then asking who caused god is logically equivalent to asking what caused the thing that by definition doesn’t require a cause you haven’t exposed a contradiction you’ve simply assumed the conclusion you’re trying to prove
and now the harder question remains if you reject a necessary foundation why does contingent reality exist at all
