I am building a simple calorie tracking app for my country - so language isn't in English. Please download the app and have it installed for the next 14 days.

I need at least 12 testers. To reward anyone joining my closed test, I will be joining others closed tests for the next 14 days, once you've downloaded and opened the app please comment "Done".

I use Google groups, to download the app you'll need to join it at: https://groups.google.com/u/2/g/skeniraitesters (the button to join for me works when I hold it down for a second).

I have had a developer account since about 2021, but now I'm getting a 'verify your identity' screen. I have to submit my ID, but I need to have in app purchases available. The problem is, I'm 17. I cannot transfer account ownership to my mom's account until I verify my identity.
Should I either
a) Verify my identity, risk getting banned and transfer account ownership to mom (will I keep the IAP functionality?)
b) Purchase a new developer account under my mom's gmail

Title says it all.

What actually happened? I have a strange feeling it wasn't an "algorithm glitch" as they said it was, I feel like it was some sort of Meta's data collection to see how users respond to that type of content on Instagram. I might be overthinking it?
