Tammi Terrell and..... Slade?
What Motown legend Tammi Terrell would have sounded like with a rock band backing, paired with the Slade version recorded in 1969.
The original on 1967's 'United' is still amazing!! :-) .

This is an interesting alternate mix : the original version had really specific lyrics about having an affair, but this is just the vocal hook and Isaac's great instrumentation arrangment.
Makes you imagine what Isaac feels in his soul that he has to tell.
From the album 'Use Me' (1975).
It was to remind him that he was not a boaster but a positive toaster.
Such a great vibe on life - the talented Mr Lee Scratch Perry - such a unique individual. RIP.

Here's an alternate mix of You Got a Friend from Got to Be There (1972).
A great rendition of Just a Little Bit from 'Forever, Michael' (Motown 1975) remixed.

CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT release from 1988 but in a multi-verse where Paul Dianno has come back with his 1980 voice and sung lead vocals.
Released 38 years ago today : the single of THE EVIL THAT MEN DO has the re-recording of CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT on the b-side
Both released versions are fantastic as is - this is just for fun.
Today years old when I heard this - great track. Recorded around the time of 'Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5' with the Funk Brothers.
Interesting version with an alternate vocal take and preceded by the poem by Geoffrey Palmer.
J'adore Atlantique Sud.

'I love Atlantique Sud. I wondered what it would sound like stripped back to just Anthony, Mai, piano and the strings - so I made a remix : enjoy and let me know what you think. Just for fun!

A mash-up that existed in my head - when Prince's vocals got released I had a go recreating what was in my head! Took a while to get the vocal tuning correct !
A bit of a niche post. This is Prince singing Nothing Compares 2 U from 1984 but tuned and arranged with the Sinead O'Connor production.
This was done by me to satisfy an itch I had as a 12 year old when hearing Sinead's version version but imagining what Prince would have sounded like singing it with that melody . Sharing in case anyone else was curious.
