looking for snorkeling in the keys!

going to be near Tavernier/ Islamorada In July and we are looking for a small day snorkeling trip. Maybe where we get on a boat and go out to sea? I have been to alligator reef before but I am open to going anywhere. Anyone have any recommendations for boats that could take us out? Thank you!

Seeking advice about cysts

So starting in October I had severe pain on my right ovary and lower/mid back. It was so bad I thought I had a kidney stone. My doctor ordered a CT scan and turns out it was an ovarian cyst the size of a lime. Since then that cyst has gone away but I based on another ultra sounds it looks like I am still experiencing reoccurring cysts that cause pain daily. We reassessed in january and my obgyn suggested i stop using the copper IUD and go back on the pill for the extra hormones and that would help. This has helped some maybe but I am still experiencing pain from cysts. It feels like a pinching and aching pain only on my right ovary that occurs daily but gets worse with standing, sitting, or running. Now that this has been going on for about 9 months i am getting fed up and i am going to go back to the OBGYN. previously my dr. has said that the only thing i can do is take ibuprofen and wait for them to go away which is fine and ibuprofen does work but i cant take it daily. I just want a solution and I am not sure what to do.

Not sure if I should keep going

Hey everyone! i’ve been on 1.5mg for about 2 months now and i just don’t know if I want to keep doing this. I am mostly taking it for weight loss and insulin resistance relating to PCOS. I do feel like my blood sugar has been completely fixed and i have not had any issues with that since starting. However I have lost about 12 lbs and I have not seen progress past that for about 3-4 weeks. I have completely changed my diet to whole foods/ unprocessed foods, limited diary, limited added sugar, ect. I am mostly eating protein and fruit and veggies. I have also started working out regularly with running and strength training.

I’m mostly feeling like I don’t know if I want to continue because, I know I would probably see more weight loss on 4mg but I don’t know if I could handle the side effects. 1.5mg has some pretty strong side effects for me as far as appetite suppression and food aversion. Also mild constipation and sometimes nausea. I know these are to be expected but I can’t imagine what it would be like on 4mg. I think I would be very uncomfortable / miserable.

As I continue to move my body more I find myself wanting to provide my body with the fuel necessary to be active which I think can be hard due to the GLP1. I’m also tired of worrying about if a certain food will upset my stomach, and just want to be able to eat foods without worrying. (for example, pizza with family members, dinner with parents/ friends ect.)

At the same time I think the GLP1 has changed what sounds appealing and it’s keeping me away from most of the foods I would have previously eaten. I also wonder if it has given me the motivation to consistently move my body. I have never had this kind of intrinsic motivation towards working out before.

anyway trying to decide if it is worth the $150 a month to continue this or just get off the medication and try to sustain the habits I have formed.

How long did it take you to run for 3-5 miles without stopping?

Hey! I am a new runner been running for about 3 weeks. I have just been running in intervals and can only run for about 2-5 minutes at a time before i need to stop. I love the feeling i get when i am running and just cruising through. I am curious how long it took yall to get to be able to run one or a few miles consecutively without stopping? Thank you :)

I want to upgrade my apple watch to a garmin watch.

I want to use it for my fitness/ weight loss journey i have started. I am a beginner and I am starting to enter the world of fitness to lose weight and create lean muscle mass. In the gym I am working on interval training with cardio, strength training, stretching, and improving my overall fitness. Which watch would be best for me? Long term my goals are to lose 55lbs of fat, gain muscle, and be able to go for a run for an extended period of time. Thank you!!!

heyyy just wanna hear everyone’s thoughts? i know the whole morning routine- i take mine at 6 and wait about 2 hours before eating / drinking. I was wondering if anyone has just taken their medication when they wake up and not set an alarm? how has that impacted your side effects? i had a friend tell me to take it at the same time everyday to eliminate side effects however i miss sleeping in. and some nights i don’t get home from work until midnight so waking up at 6 can be hard for me.

Hey everyone! i want to make a quilt for my future sister in laws wedding. I have plenty of time but want to start now to be safe. I’m not sure exactly what would be the best quilt to make. She sent me some inspo pics which i added to this post and I just want to make sure it’s perfect. What kind of design would you do? I only have a singer machine and do not long arm. I’m also thinking it will be about 70x70 or 80x80. Any feedback is helpful and appreciated ❤️
