Anxious about procedure.

Hey all, 23F here getting chin lipo + J plasma in exactly a day from now.

It’s going to be under regional (?) anesthesia, which means I’ll be awake the whole time with a mild sedative to reduce anxiousness.

I’m really nervous, especially since no one is accompanying me during the surgery and pre + post surgery from my family as they’re all busy, and I’m not sure how to calm my nerves.

I’m mostly afraid of the pain, and having something go wrong. I’m also very anxious by nature, and I often dislike hearing sounds during any type of procedure I rather have my hearing “blacked out”.

Any suggestions and advice would be beneficial.

Chin lipo with chin filler?

Hey all, 23F here!

I’ve had 2 ml of chin filler, one ml in my actual chin and the ml other to seamlessly blend it into the rest of my face.

I’m doing chin lipo + J plasma combo in 5 days, I’ve dissolved my jawline filler already. I was told by my doctor there’s no need to dissolve it, but it’s up to me.

I’m kind of wishing I did, but has anyone had chin filler while undergoing chin lipo? How was it like? Did it mess with the results?

Chin lipo with j plasma?

Hey all, 23F here!

Diagnosed with PCO 3 years ago, I’ve lost drastic weight since, however, hormonally and genetically, my face, especially jaw and chin store so much fat.
First place to gain weight and last place to lose weight.

My doctor explained to me that he’s going to liposuction any fat in that area, and also use J-Plasma to tighten the area and define it. I’m excited yet very nervous, I’ve seen results of chin lipo with J-plasma, they look like a dream.

But I was wondering if anyone has done J-Plasma with their chin lipo? If yes, how was your experience like?

Is my mole suspicious?

Hi all, 23F here.

I have PCO and I’ve undergone a lot of hormonal changes in my body, including skin tags and new moles appearing.

These 2 moles suddenly appeared out of nowhere 2 years ago, I wasn’t suspicious of it at first, but they both started growing rapidly this year.

I will be seeing a dermatologist soon for a skin biopsy, but should I be worried that this might be a melanoma? :/

Tooth extraction before invisaligns?

Hey all! 23F here (:

Ive been planning on getting Invisaligns for a while now, I’ve saved up and I finally can afford it. There is one concern I have though after my consultation.

My doctor told me that my upper 2nd molar is broken in half. It has been for a while (he said possibly years) but I never noticed. It’s badly damaged and he told me if I’m seeking out getting invisaligns it would be better to remove the tooth completely as trying to salvage it as the stage it’s in isn’t a good idea and will be a waste of money long term for me. He told me to remove it and we can start treatment afterwards.

Here’s the thing, my upper teeth are gapping and I’d like to close the gapping, but how would that be possible if I extract my 2nd molar? Wouldn’t it shift the teeth in the gap and cause misalignment? Would it even be possible to “save the spot” of my molar while closing the gapping and get an implant after treatment?

My bottom teeth are also crowded, which is another reason I’d like to get invisaligns.

I will be seeing a dentist soon to get his opinion if my molar is salvageable, but I was wondering if my orthodontist is truthful regarding his statement of I can remove it and get an implant after my Invisalign treatment is done.

Any clarification would help, I don’t want to get invisaligns only to start the treatment all over again at another point in my life as they’re expensive!

Upper molar extraction before Invisalign treatment?

Hey all! 23F here (:

Ive been planning on getting Invisaligns for a while now, I’ve saved up and I finally can afford it. There is one concern I have though after my consultation.

My doctor told me that my upper 2nd molar right side is broken in half. It has been for a while (he said possibly years) but I never noticed. Subpar results with Candela?

Hey all! 23F here with PCO and a lot of thick black hair genetically before starting laser. I started doing laser last year in November, so far I’ve done around 8 sessions.

Honestly, I won’t lie my bikini and underarms results are amazing. But I’m very disappointed in my leg and arms results. My pores are weird, there’s little dots (black dots) in some areas of my legs and arms, which makes it look like there’s hair although there’s none. It’s never smooth.
Also in some tiny patches the hair grows quicker and is still the same (dark and long).

My laser tech told me to moisturize more often and stay hydrated, but I’ve seen absolutely no result even with this.

I won’t even talk about how awfully painful the laser treatment with candela is! It’s horrid esp on my legs.

I feel like 8 sessions are a lot, and I really don’t want to waste my time or money on something that might not be suitable for me.

Is this normal? Are there any other machines that are more effective than candela, or gentler but with better results?

Weight distribution…?

Hey all!

I’ve been on spiro for 2 months, 25mg everyday

I’ve noticed…interesting changes in my body…?

I haven’t gained weight or lost weight, I’m at 54 kgs, I wouldn’t say I’m crazy active but I do tend to walk a lot and try to focus on my steps if I can’t work out.

But I’ve noticed that my body is slightly fuller on spiro, I’m not sure how to explain it. I’ve always had a bigger chest my entire life but it looks extra “swollen” or just fuller. Also my bottom half is a bit weird. I’m noticing my butt getting bigger but not in such a nice way lol more like a dreadful way, my thighs too.

I haven’t lost any weight from my midsection but to be fair I’ve lost it before I went on spiro, so can’t really comment much.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I’m really not enjoying looking thicker 😭, did it go away? Do I need to be more active? Any advice helps!

My phone randomly rung my sister’s?

Hey all! Any explanation of this weird occurrence would be appreciated.

So a couple of months back, my sister and I were sitting in the basement together and she was on her phone while mine was next to me locked.

Out of no where, she receives a call from me and we both turned to stare at each other confused. My phone was beside me and it was LOCKED. I immediately open it and there was no call placed on my end, not even on my history. My sister picked up but it was silent and the line hung up a few seconds after she answered, a minute later my phone turned off because it was low on battery.

It was honestly so strange, a bit spooky. Any explanation for this would be appreciated!

Hey all, 23F with PCO, taking 25mg of spiro.

I swear I’m not crazy, but I’ve noticed a lot of positive things happening to my body.

Firstly, my face is producing LESS oil than it once did, I can finally wear makeup and moisturizer without looking greasy. I also noticed the tiny thick black hairs haven’t grown back at all, along with no new pimples around my chin and jawline.

I also noticed my hair has been shedding slightly less, and produces less oils. It no longer smells which I’m so happy about, I needed that during the summer.

I’m still yet to see how it affects my period, but I guess that’s another post when I’m due for my period.

So far so good, no side effects apart from the lightheadedness because it does lower your BP lol.
