Yes, I know Wario and Waluigi weren’t created by Miyamoto so it’s likely that they wouldn’t even be in the movies at all, but I still think it’s a fun topic to talk about.

One idea I have is that Wario and Waluigi should be from the human world. One thing that defines the Wario Bros, well mostly Wario in general, is that he’s always been jealous of Mario’s success. But the movie portrays Mario and Luigi as being unsuccessful plumbers so there wouldn’t be anything for Wario or Waluigi to be jealous over. Instead, I think Wario and Waluigi should be the ones who are more successful than Mario and Luigi at the start and they’re portrayed as being greedy pigs who love the attention and spotlight, but after Mario and Luigi defeat Bowser and they get the spotlight, Wario and Waluigi get jealous and go to the Mushroom Kingdom to wreak havoc or get revenge.

I also initially thought Wario and Waluigi should be related to the Mario Bros, to play off the common misconception in the fandom what Wario is Mario’s cousin, but then I remembered that Rosalina was made to being Peach’s long lost sister, so having another family member reveal would be redundant. Instead, I think Wario and Waluigi should be Mario and Luigi’s old bullies or rivals from childhood.

But that’s just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

He was able to tell that Dashan was goading Gingka into using his special movie and immediately intervenes to stop him. This honestly sounds more like something Tsubasa would do, even before purging the Dark Power from him.

The trailer constantly shows Donkey being goofy with Shrek and the other characters reacting negatively as if he’s the most obnoxious being in existence. So I’m worried that the movie will just depict Donkey as being the “annoying side kick character” whose entire jokes consist of everyone thinking he’s annoying.

I know that sorta happened in the previous movies, but even then, Donkey had more to him than that and had important role in Shrek’s overall character. The trailer just depicts Donkey as being this obnoxious pest no one, not even Fiona, seems to like and I really hope that’s not his entire character throughout the movie.

(Also FYI since I see this said on tier lists a lot. When I place two characters within a same tier, one being placed before or after another doesn’t dictate whether I think they’re more or less redeemable. I put Crispin and Megan in the same tier, but that doesn’t mean I think Crispin is more redeemable than Megan, I think that they’re both on the same level.)

I feel like this doesn’t get talked about enough in the fandom. Are there characters who are and can be redeemed? Yeah I think so. Even some “lost causes” like Nicole and Emily need some mental help and therapy in order to get better.

Should any of them actually be redeemed in any Class of 09 content we get? No. Class of a 09 is a game that relies on characters being horrible to in order to tell the story it’s trying to tell. Characters are purposefully written to be awful people and them get redeemed would lose the point. I personally feel like they work better as being cautionary tales you could learn from so you don’t end up being like them.

Dan and Reiki are two generic grunts that became their own characters.

The Kumade brothers feel more like joke characters.

Tetsuya IS a joke character and him joining the Dark Nebula doesn’t make more threatening.

Tobio and Ryutaro are pretty decent characters with interesting battling gimmicks, but they aren’t really that strong and weren’t even members of the Dark Nebula initially.

I feel like this organization was carried by Tsubasa and Yu, and even then, Tsubasa was a spy and Yu didn’t belong with them in the first place.

The only threatening characters are Ryuga, Doji, and Reiji.

No disrespect to Eternatus and Terapagos, BTW. I’m just saying it would be nice to actually get a real third member.

I came across a comic dub of this and when it came to this scene with Dorothea. At first I was like “ah typical Dorothea”, but then I thought “Wait maybe this could work?” Flirty songstress and no-nonsense huntswoman.

What do you think?

So for context, I’m not really a doll guy or even a figurine guy. And I initially brushed off Ever After High as just being “Oh so it’s basically Disney’s Descendants again?”

After checking out the webisodes out of mild curiosity, seeing how the series actually handles the concept, the themes it explores, and the lore, I was immediately hooked. In fact, I think I actually like it more than Disney’s Descendants tbh.

Also, Raven is voiced by Erin Fitzgerald, who voices characters I really like: Chie Satonaka from Persona 4 and Noire/Black Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia.

I really like how Gingka and Madoka were written together in the Metal Saga. They have a deep bond and clearly care about each other, where it wouldn’t exactly be unusual if they did hook up, but it’s presented in a nice platonic relationship. Plus, this is Beyblade. No one watches the show for romantic drama.

Like yeah, I get it. It’s “Scorpio” so it’s a scorpion, but this hardly looked like one to me when I was a kid. I always thought it looked like a guy with a pompadour.

I would understand if I recruited every other student from the Blue Lions, but I had only recruited three of them. Dimitri legit just chose Dedue when he had more options available. IDK, I just thought it was funny.
