Highlander tactical loyal to The Kurgan, badab war.
During the badab war, the Highlanders came to the aid of their progenitor chapter, the Executioners, on the side of the seccionists; however, disagreements over which side to support eventually tore the chapter in two. One side turned to support the loyalists - while the other rallied under the leadership of their chapter champion, eventually going on to form the Renegade warband known as "Kurgan's Gatherers"
