Was really cool, I see why it was so well liked. Played the DS version, got ending 01. Just a super fun game throughout and the pacing was good, I'm not super big into JRPGs, but it wasn't stupidly difficult that I was redoing bosses 100 times over, and it wasn't like Pokemon where you walk through some grass and get attacked, then attacked again, then attacked again. The live combat system was pretty cool, I think this was a DS addition to the game? I liked it, kept it feeling fast paced since I'm not crazy about slower turn based games. I'm excited to play Chrono Cross next, though I have heard it's a significant departure from this game.

I heard that I can do the black omen 3 times, and acquire a lot of the prism gear. How much easier would this make the final boss, or should I just run through it the one time? I'm using Ayla to charm to get that gear but I heard it might not work on the DS version, which I'm playing. I made it to Queen Zeal and have to log off for now, so I'm wondering how I should go about it in my next play session?

He doesn't show up as an unauthorized user on my end either. No clue how to get him into the network.

I know I'm going to be feeling it in my gut tomorrow but it's a super flavourful sauce, just got some recently and I highly recommend.

Normally the game has worked fine, but I recently tried booting it up and I hear the engine noises on the title screen, but Mario never says "Mario Kart 8", it just gets stuck there. Any ideas?

I have one of the Japanese blue controllers so I want to have it in mint condition. The thing is, when I click on the right trigger, sometimes it clicks at the bottom, sometimes it doesn't. I think it sort of depends on where the pressure is applied on the trigger. Is there any common reason for this? Should I try swapping out the shoulder with another controller?

I have read The Hobbit+LOTR twice, and Silmarillion once. I was thinking of doing Silmarillion, Fall of Numenor, Hobbit, LOTR for a chronological reading. I don't believe I read too far into the appendices of LOTR, so I feel like this is probably a good idea, but I understand that there are also some expanded tales, like Beren & Luthien among others. I want to eventually get to it all, or at least the highlights. What would be a good reading order? I am also suggesting the books to my brother, so how would y'all recommend it considering he's seen the movies but hasn't read any of the novels. Should he read it chronologically as well or in release order? Thanks.

I am trying to get this game working with cloud save, it recognizes that there is a cloud save. When I open the game it asks if I want the cloud save or the local save, so I'm trying to launch it with the cloud save but when it opens there is no save data. I've played the game for about 5 hours on another device so I'd rather not restart. Why might it not be reading the cloud save properly? If possible to run it locally I don't mind, I downloaded a save of my game from steam and could import it and I'd play the game locally if there isn't another solution.
