I just got a job offer today from Albertsons as a barista at Starbucks (SoCal). I thoroughly enjoy the idea of working back in Starbucks but in reality it’s not that at all. I’ve worked at Starbucks for 5 years ended up leaving the company back in 2023 as a supervisor. At Albertsons not only will I be a part time barista but I will be getting paid minimum wage 16.90$ despite my extensive experience. Plus during my interview he mentioned “it’s good that you already know how to process inventory”yes but as a supervisor!! I do like that they’re willing to work with my school schedule but other than that I don’t know how to feel about them being unionized or paying all these extra fees when I already get a decent deduction as it is. Plus they said I’m eligible for benefits after 7 months and I can get a dollar and some change raise by 6 months.

I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place because my current job is not any better. I work as a barista part time but hella part time!!! It’s such a chill and easy job but I get no benefits, no sick pay, no time and a half, no holiday pay and that also sucks because you could be sick for a whole week and won’t get paid because you can’t accumulate sick hours 😩🫠

Can anyone explain to me if it’s worth going union or should I just stick with the easy job despite not having benefits ?

My goal is to loose about 25 pounds by December not because of the holiday but because I want to feel good about myself. My only issue is I’m having trouble on where to start and honestly I’m currently dealing with a lot of self doubt. I originally thought of just doing cardio but I remember someone had mentioned that’s not good and it can lead to muscle loss, but I’m not sure. If anyone has suggestions that may help, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

For a few years now, I’ve been noticing every time I eat, I find hair on my food. I’m talking about restaurants, home cooked meals, friend’s houses, there was a few times I’ve even found hair on packaged items.

Today though it totally makes no sense to me!! I had the responsibility of cooking dinner for my family this evening and it was just me in the kitchen till I finished. I decided to fix me a plate first and as I’m eating I feel in my mouth a good sized strand of hair. I have no clue how that got in there when it was me by myself in the kitchen.

What makes this even more bizarre is that I’m bald. I haven’t had long hair or any hair since 2022 🙃 I feel like I’m lowkey getting some witch craft done on me.

Bro is the pussiest straight man child I’ve ever witnessed in this show 😤 Then we got Chex talking about his mom being beat on, how and why does that correlate to the conversation??? You knew what you were signing up for, I’m sure you saw what happened last season. It’s hard to give empathy to someone who is oblivious to his surroundings

Let me start of by saying I just found this subreddit in the hopes to find some similarities to my sister condition. My sister (21) has had terrible menstrual symptoms for many years now. Literally every time she gets her period for about 3 days straight she gets really ill to the point she’s bedridden, unable to keep liquids or solids in cause she’s constantly throwing up, in severe pain to the point she’s tossing and turning of her discomfort. She has gone to the doctors and they say it’s just her period or they often blame it on her (weed pen and vape) which maybe it can correlate but it also seems far fetched. It worries me because she like 5’1 and extremely petite, if I recall correctly she’s under 100 pounds. It’s as if these symptoms contributed to an ED. It’s a drastic change though when she’s out of it she’s definitely very active, and I’ve clearly have seen her almost a whole box of pizza to herself but in the end these symptoms will continue on for a long time because it’s part of her cycle. It’s just worrying seeing her that way, it allows the worst case scenario to pop in your head and that terrifies me.

I have a question y’all? Back in 2023 when I was a supervisor I did a stupid mistake that ended up costing me my supervisor job. I had excepted a blunt as a tip, which I did not smoke, I did take it but it was thrown away right after work. Unfortunately my coworker said otherwise 🙃 anyways I was terminated for it. I tried arguing it, even told them to do a drug test to prove it but they didn’t want to. Fast forward today I got a call for an interview as a supervisor but the manager told me she’ll be doing her own investigation and will ask HR if I’m still eligible? Do y’all think I have a chance ?

You know what ya’ll maybe this is me being too honest but there was a time in my life where I was heavily addicted to sex. Since I was a pre teen and my forced introduction to sex, it spiraled me out into a nympho. A few years back I decided that I didn’t want that life anymore and I started being strict in hookup culture. In a way it was great because I avoided tallying up a body count but it opened a new source for me which is (Porn). Fast forward now, I’m in a good relationship but I can’t seem to leave porn behind. It’s almost as if it’s a natural instinct to get lost in it. If I’m being honest (more honest than i already am) I’m tired of this cycle. I know this was a vice to leave the other one behind but I can’t help that it all correlates to my past and how I was SA. With that being said, have any of you been through a similar situation? Or have had the same addiction? And if so what steps did you take to get help and prevent it?
