Saying the movie deserved to flop because of Them using AI to conceptualizing a design is a bit much but that’s just me

Is it Racist to not like when a character’s Race is changed in Artworks or movies or other such fiction?

I personally like when characters keep their regular skin colour normally but I don’t have anything against people of colour…. I don’t want people to think I’m a shit human being

So what did y’all think of Superman 2008? Which was the start of the DCU?

It was a fun time and definitely a great start to the DCU

(OOC:I didn’t know what to put in the Ironman Position on the poster so I placed in my attempt at Metallo while Superman in Tony’s Position)

What did you all think of the Ang Lee Hulk Trilogy?

I personally think this Trilogy is a must watch for any Hulk fans out there, the Hulk fighting against Abomination in the second film was awesome, but what did y’all think of the Ang Lee Trilogy? Could you imagine a world where they only made the first movie and nothing else?

The Comments under this r/DC_Cinematic post is kinda depressing, it’s almost like their happy their movie underperformed?

I also really don’t get the hate for the movie i personally thought it was a great movie, good 8/10 for me I really don’t get the hate for it and definitely and saddened by how it underpreformed

u/Maxymaxpower — 15 days ago

What’s a hot take do you have for your fandom that you don’t see as often in your fandom

For me it’s for TADC and it’s that I think the finale not only was a good Episode but I also believe it was a great ending to the show as well, I see the negative opinion more often then a positive opinion

[the amazing Digital Circus] Here’s 6 What Ifs that I’ve thought about and wondered what y’all might think would happen in these Alt Scenarios

  1. What If Kaufmo didn’t Abstract and was apart of the other episodes

  2. What if Gangle had abstracted in Episode 4

  3. What if Zooble and Gangle won the Adventure in episode 6 (since if that happened most kill Jax’s crash out to Pomni wouldn’t have happened

  4. What if Kinger had abstracted before Ragatha came into the Circus

  5. What if Bubble didn’t Ragebait Caine in Episode 8

  6. What if Jax didn’t Abstract in episode 9 and had actually learnt about his real world self

I personally thought that the show’s ending a solid 8/10

I really liked seeing through Jax’s Perspective and seeing how he was in the past and I liked all three of the Different character Abstraction scenes, and as a Caine fan I’m really happy with the ending he got, sure there’s some questions I may have but it personally doesn’t matter much to me since the show’s Story wasn’t about those questions, apart of me hopes that maybe we could get a prequel or something since I just wanna see more past related things about the circus

I originally made this as a comment disagreeing with someone but I liked my analysis on Caine so much I decided to bring it up here as well

I think Caine’s Arc handled really well

He always wanted to be apart of the group, he always wanted to not be alone and once Abstractions became a thing he wanted to stop Abstractions by doing the quirky Adventures that he’d end thinking is his art and was convinced that the humans loved his Adventures too and by extension loved him, then Zooble came around and that notion started to be attacked as Zooble seems to be the first person as far as we know who told Caine exactly how they felt about his adventures, they hated them and didn’t even want to be apart of them which clearly bothers Caine, he gets slightly distracted when Ponni comes around and almost spoilers herself on what I’d Assume was Caine’s attempt at the Escape the digital Circus adventure earlier just not finished, and back with his feelings on Zooble, in episode 3 he tries to get closer to Zooble first making the Adventure be something he thought Zooble would like and even tried talking to Zooble but his AI nature got in the way as his biggest issue is listening, he tries helping Zooble but he already thinks he fixed Zooble’s Problems and doesn’t understand why they are still having the problem and he nearly cracks after Zooble told him that no one likes his adventures, up to this point Caine probably thought Zooble was a weird anomaly but Zooble’s Words probably had a long lasting effect on Caine as we’d see later where he might start wondering if everyone does hate his adventures, episode 4 he does the suggestion Box with Gangle’s Suggestion and overall is willing to try the suggestion even if he did forget about it and in Episode 5 he tries it again with realizing people that adventure pretty well, at first things seem great but Caine’s Ego starts getting in the way as he worries that Zooble might be right, they don’t like his adventures, they like these non Caine Adventures and if they don’t like his adventures do they like…. Him? And so he starts rushing through the rest of the adventures and kinda doesn’t care about this lighting round idea anymore, Episode 6 is when the cracks really show, he first tries this grant Sports Adventure, then Pomni says she doesn’t want to which causes him to try a team building adventure hoping to make the circus gang less combative and more importantly potentially like him more for fixing their issues but Jax then shoot Ragatha and Caine gets frustrated and mentally quits for the day letting them do whatever they want with a fun adventure and only gives them rules when Zooble asks for it and Episode 7 is when Caine finally does his escape the digital circus Adventure an Adventure that everyone will love since everyone wants something real and they always talk about an exit to the circus heck Kaufmo talked about it a lot before he abstracted, so he does it and expects everyone to congratulate him on a great adventure but…. Instead Jax calls him out for all his wrongdoing and even as he defends himself he realizes no one’s happy and the mention of Scratch’s Abatraction makes him uneasy and realizing he may have done something wrong and leaves, then Episode 8 is when everything breaks, he’s in his office and wonders why everything’s gone wrong, he’s does so much for them and he genuinely is trying to make them happy but for some reason he’s not able to understand they seem to hate his Adventure and…. Do they hate him? Bubbie who is normally his supportive ally seems to start instigating him, saying when they’d rather abstract them go on his adventures, the thing that he had done to try and stop abstraction and he at first doesn’t want to believe but the more prodding and with that final line that he ruined this, Caine’s anger that has been building up for this entire series finally snaps and he is gonna show all those ungrateful humans who’s the one running the show and that no will abstract under his watch and that’s what does for most of Episode 8, there’s no defending this he is doing lots of awful bad things, because he’s angry, I’m sure if I had his powers I’d probably snap in a similar way, it’s awful and terrifying but feels real and well once Caine starts realizing Kinger isn’t around that maybe he should check on it until Ponni starts saying all the things she’s probably bottled up his adventures and so does everyone else finally everyone can say how they truly feel about Caine without him trying to leave, Caine feels overwhelmed and his fears seem to be coming true, the people he wanted to love and the people he wanted most to be friends with were telling him how much they hate him and his adventures and he snaps more, puts them through tortures that prove he has been listening about their fears and does know things about them and he finishes it off with a scream of how much they torment him and that he’s only trying to serve his purpose until for a split second he realizes what he’s doing his wrong but before anything else can happen he blinks out as he’s deleted

But as we’d learn he’s not fully gone, probably because there was a backup and well he belives that they deleted him but starts realizing maybe what he was doing before was wrong, he was too controlling too obsessed over what made him happy that he didn’t once think about what truly made them happy and so he takes the Blue AI out of him and takes it away realizing that him with all that power was too much for him and he then decides to leave and try and make things better for real this time, and so he makes the offer to the circus Gang that he’s no longer gonna be the dictator tyrant of the circus he once was and that he wants to make the circus better for them all and Zooble doesn’t fully trust Caine instantly and while the others don’t say much either, the others are technically the people that are willing to give people second chances, Zooble being the one that is hesitant makes sense at least to me

Overall I personally think that while Caine’s story might not be as visible and plainly written out like Jax’s whole Story is, I personally think there’s enough details to make Caine’s ending feel satisfying in it’s own right, Caine’s Feels incredibly relatable, I feel like Caine a lot of the time always trying to make people happy but never feeling like I’m enough, I’ve had fits of anger to that I regret and the big difference is I have no power while Caine does and that’s why he’s able to do so much more damage to the people he cares about more then I can since I don’t have power but I feel like if I had Caine power, I might have snapped too

And while I know some people might disagree with me I personally believe that if Bubble never ragebaited Caine, he probably could have realized problems and episode 8 and 9 wouldn’t have existed in the way they do

Anyways this is my big analysis on Caine

Something I don’t get is how most Antis I’ve talked to seem to believe creativity is exclusive to Drawing

when like the only difference is it’s AI doing the drawing instead of you, like with both traditional and AI you have to think about the Idea you wanna conjure up and in AI’s Case would need to think of a perfect prompt to get what you want, in what way does that not involve creativity from the user, it’s not like the user themselves replaced their brain with an AI one, they still have human creativity, they just use AI to generate the art, that’s the one thing I don’t understand

Why do we care that our games are using AI? Especially since the Sub I found this on isn’t even really about sonic or Sega as a While so it’s kinda weird that the Sub even is covering this topic

Also I did leave a comment about how hating AI is kinda cringe, I wonder how long until I’m downvoted for thinking attacking AI Played out

u/Maxymaxpower — 2 months ago

You know it’s kinda weird, everyone seemed generally think the show was really good and now recently I’ve seen people kinda shit on the show more and more

Are people worried that people are gonna start thinking this show was a bad show years later?

So what did y’all think of LEGO Spider-Man:Legacy of the Webhead

Personally I think it’s a solid 7/10, I’m not a huge fan of the 7 base character roster and the fact that both Green Goblin and Harry Osborn are both relegated to DLC and honestly it doesn’t have that Essence other TT LEGO Games have, it just feels like a Ravencroft mod but with LEGO branding and nothing to make it feel like a proper LEGO game fully, it’s good and I enjoy it but it is the worst of all the console LEGO Marvel games

Right now my ranking would be

  1. LEGO Spider-Man 3:Beyond New York
  2. LEGO Marvel Supervillains
  3. LEGO Spider-Man:The Videogame
  4. LEGO Spider-Man 2:Marvel Superheroes
  5. LEGO Spider-Man:Legacy of the Webhead

For those who were able to secure tickets to the finale in theatres are you still excited to see it in theatres even if you saw the Spoilers (I luckily didn’t and now that I know they exist, I’m gonna be extra careful about making sure I don’t see them)

but I wanna know if those who have bought tickets are still excited for the film

So there’s seems to be more to this Korea Movie drama thing as the Korea Movie theatre made a response to Glitch’s Response

Here’s a translation I found for the Post from a Reddit post in the Digital circus Subreddit

"We clearly stated during the contract process that a DCP* and a contract were required for rating classification, and the other party acknowledged this and entered into the contract, while we continued to emphasize the necessity of procedures such as rating classification. We wish to make it clear that we cannot accept their claim now that this is for security reasons."

*Digital Cinema Package: a video format used in theaters

Update: Additional Explanation

During the contract process, they informed GLITCH that it would be required to submit the Digital Cinema Package for TADC: The Last Act for film rating purposes. GLITCH acknowledged this and signed the distribution agreement.

GLITCH’s recent statement implies that submitting the Digital Cinema Package for film rating poses an unacceptable risk of leakage. This contradicts the fact that GLITCH acknowledged these requirements during the contract process.

Another update: Preliminary injunction

On May 9, SBM&E filed a motion for a preliminary injunction against GLITCH. This is a preliminary injunction regarding the obligation to deliver the film; if the injunction is granted, GLITCH will be required to deliver the film (and if it fails to do so, it may be subject to an order for indirect enforcement requiring it to pay daily damages until the film is delivered). Statement, image detailed about provisional injunction

If this TADC Movie becomes successful like Glitch wants it to be, what other Glitch Properties would you like to get the TADC Movie treatment?

I do how the movie is successful since this is a pretty good step for indie creators

Like why in the world are we just against AI as a tool to help with gaming to the point where people need to immediately push against it until devs decide to bend the knee
