Do they always have someone behind the camera for re:views etc to keep everything working?

I imagine Jay sitting there through 3 hours of star trek talk must be torturous. But seriously, when theres just two people on camera do you think they always bring in someone else to man the cameras and recording equipment or would they have a pretty solid setup by now where its not needed?

What makes a successful Extraction Shooter?

The genre doesn't appeal to me but i've been curious of what makes a successful extraction shooter.

I assume it isn't purely down to having good gunplay, maps, movement etc, like regular shooters since extraction shooters have mechanics and systems outside of playing matches.

In basic terms what do the big ones, like Tarkov and Arc Raiders, do better than Marathon for example?

A couple of relics the D1 vets might enjoy.

I dug out these t-shirts from the olden days to bring back some memories in light of recent news.

The left shirt was to raise money for Nepal after an earthquake in 2015. You also got a custom shader and emblem.

The right shirt was available during the Age of Triumph at the end of D1. Players whole completed a huge list of various ingame activities and tasks got a code to buy it and even add their name to the sleeve.

Transporting stone to a 2nd region

Am I right in thinking if you make a 2nd region without a stone quarry or access to raft transporting from up stream, the region is locked into peasant buildings only? You can't build any commoner buildings without stone? I don't mind that design choice really, it just requires planning ahead, I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

A diorama I made for my Deathwatch squad.

After far too long I finally finished making my own display piece for the deathwatch squad that came with the Tomb World box. I tried using the more under represented chapters for all the members.

The squad itself has some light kitbashing from various 3D printed bits I got online and my own parts to help make use of all the options in the tomb world box.

The diorama is built up from extruded polystyrene boards, thin plastic sheets for details, standard craft stones, rubble and texture paint for terrain. The paint scheme, which I got from a fellow redditor, is some cheap red brown paint for the base then lots of drybrushing with evil sun scarlet, wild rider red and ryza rust.

I hope you like it.

I really enjoy when they talk about the more technical side of film making.

I re-watched the "Best of the Worst: New Releases" episode and they briefly discuss different aspects of film making through out. I just find it really interesting when they talk about what not to do, why things are done a certain way, how a scene can be improved and even re-editing a scene as an example. I'm just a regular movie enjoyer but all these tidbits make me appreciate the process more. Let me know of some other episodes i might have forgotten about to check out.

Im tired of zoning low density housing everywhere. How can i can i get people to live in other densities?

I've just started a new city after many years of not playing and every time i expand, the need for low density housing sky rockets but i want to start seeing larger building like apartment blocks or even sky scrapers. How do i increase the need for medium and high density housing?

What was genuinely the most dangerous cheap builds they took on the road?

My vote goes to Jeremy's Leaning Tower of Citroën.
