[TJStats] The Hottest MLB Hitting Prospects - Week of August 10, 2026

Here are the hottest hitting prospects in baseball over the last two weeks. This is not necessarily a leaderboard of the highest OPS in this timeframe. It is a list of prospects that caught my eye due to their recent stretch of games. [Highlights] The Pelicans with a comeback win. Jalon Moore with the clutch layup, the Hornets with their 20th turnover, Hunter Dickinson with the clutch 3 to give the Pelicans their first lead, Bufkin forces a jumpball, Kalkbrenner tips it to the rookie Jaron Pierre Jr, who scores the fastbreak dunk

The Pelicans with huge comeback late in the 4th quarter to win the game vs. the Hornets.

Jalon Moore with the clutch layup, the Hornets with their 20th turnover, Hunter Dickinson with the clutch 3 to give the Pelicans their first lead, Bufkin forces a jumpball, Kalkbrenner tips it to the rookie Jaron Pierre Jr, who scores the fastbreak dunk.

The Hornets turn the ball over and brick, as the Pelicans secure the win!

It was part of a 14-2 run by the Pelicans in the last 4 minutes

The Pelicans stun the 2025 Summer League champions (who have pretty much a similar roster, btw)
