In 2016, at the behest of D'Angelo Russel's agent, Baxter Holmes wrote a puff piece article on how D'Lo's love for his new dogs had made him more mature. The aim was to reframe D'Lo's public persona away from the Nick Young incident. D'Lo returned the dogs 1 week after the article was published.

Hilariously enough, even in the article, it was obvious that D'Lo had not matured. He got a Belgian Malinois as his pet as a rookie pet owner. If anyone knows anything about that breed, that's a no go.

Also was proof way back in 2016 that Baxter Holmes was a hack who got played by an agent with an immature client.

It is a list of prospects that caught my eye due to their recent stretch of games. Read my article covering these names and pitchers here: https://tjstats.ca/2026/08/10/prospect-parade-hottest-mlb-prospects-week-of-august-10/

[Blum] One of the reasons Angels owner Arte Moreno rarely trades away popular players is a fear that it will hurt the club's ability to market itself to fans. Despite trading Jo Adell, the Angels reportedly still plan to give out his home-run robbery bobblehead in mid-September

When Monte Ellis Said He's in The Same Category as Dwayne Wade: "To be honest. I'd put myself in the same category as Dwade. I mean at the end of the day the only thing he have that I don't have is more wins and 2 championships. That's it."

The Pelicans with huge comeback late in the 4th quarter to win the game vs. the Hornets.

Jalon Moore with the clutch layup, the Hornets with their 20th turnover, Hunter Dickinson with the clutch 3 to give the Pelicans their first lead, Bufkin forces a jumpball, Kalkbrenner tips it to the rookie Jaron Pierre Jr, who scores the fastbreak dunk.

The Hornets turn the ball over and brick, as the Pelicans secure the win!

It was part of a 14-2 run by the Pelicans in the last 4 minutes

The Pelicans stun the 2025 Summer League champions (who have pretty much a similar roster, btw)
