Southern Baptist upbringing is causing me to want to break it off with my gf

Edit: please reply if you’re seeing this. I’m debating suicide. I can’t Do this.

Hey everyone

I’m posting this in a panic because I don’t know what’s happening to me.

I’m trying to make this as short and simple as possible because I need relief of some kind.

I’m 19F, my gf is 20F. We both have southern Baptist upbringings. We met our freshman year of college. I have known I’m bi my entire life, my gf didn’t know until we got together. we have been dating for 9 months.

The entire relationship; we’ve struggled with the idea of our relationship being a sin. Sometimes I feel okay. Sometimes I feel like my love can’t be wrong. Other times I feel sick to my stomach like I’m blatantly disobeying God.

The past few days I’ve barely eaten or slept because I feel so sick to my stomach. I feel like God is trying to tell me it’s wrong. That we should break up. That I should surrender to him.

I love her so much. Idk what’s happening. Do I end things or can I love her and love God at the same time?

I feel like I’m better off dead. I can’t do this anymore bro. Someone help me

BAYADA home health - "skills assessment" for CNA, is it hard?

Hey everyone,

On Wednesday I have a "skills assessment" that I have to complete, prior to my orientation. I was wondering if anyone had completed the CNA skills assessment, and if it was similar to the skills exam to pass your CNA skills evaluation?

I'm mainly just wondering if I should be worried if I'm going to pass it or fail it lol. or if it is generally lowkey.

Xbox 1s is saying I don’t own any games and can’t play them

Hey everyone, I have an Xbox series x and have an old Xbox 1s that I gave to my gf so that she could play games with me. I got it set up for her at her house earlier and had Fortnite updating on the console so that we could play tg tonight. But when she tries to play Fortnite, it continuously gives her the message that she “doesn’t own the game” and needs to “insert a disc” or something like that. And it doesn’t make sense bc Fortnite is legit installed and doesn’t even have a disc?

This happens on every other app too.

She has restarted the console, cleared the MAC address, and my account is the “home xbox” so that she can play my games too ? I thought that’s how that works.

Any advice? Thanks

In my mind this could go either way lol. It could be super busy or super chill I think

Lost 12 lbs in a month, don’t wanna regress while at the beach

Hey everyone, I 19F started my weight loss journey May 29th and it’s June 25th. I’ve lost 12 lbs and I’m making good progress I think.

My issue is that I’m going to the beach next week for my girlfriend 20F’s birthday. She has struggled with multiple ED’s throughout her life, and has politely asked me to try to keep counting my calories limited while at the beach. She won’t eat a sweet treat without me, and so on.

I want to make the trip enjoyable for not only her by not having it focused on calories, but myself too, since I’ve been doing well I feel like I should reward myself a little bit.

But how can I be sure to not regress and lose all of my progress? I don’t want to absolutely blow it and gain all 12 lbs back (not even sure that’s possible, but you get my point).

My cal deficit is currently 1653 daily, very limited, especially for a beach trip. Is there a number that I could possibly exceed to daily to where I wouldn’t necessarily lose weight while on the trip, but I wouldn’t gain it either?

I’ve just been making progress and I’m really enjoying my journey, but I also want to make sure that this trip is full for all parties.

Advice??

11 pounds down in a month

I started my weight loss journey May 29th at 203lbs, now weighing in at 191.8 on June 22nd. I’m somewhat proud, but just don’t know if this is good progress.

I’m inquiring to see if this is actually *is* good progress or if I should be losing more?

Also, as my calories per day goes down, I find myself struggling to find meals that are lowcal besides lean cuisine microwave meals. Any recommendations for low cal food options that are filling? And low cal snacks?

TIA 🙃

Gf has an ed, what do I do

Hey everyone,

I’m 19F and my girlfriend is 19F. She has been through a lot in her life, including having multiple eating disorders from age 15-17. She never fully recovered from them. She had anorexia (main one she struggles with) and binge ed. I’m coming on here because I don’t know what to do/how to help her.

She was in therapy for years, but her therapist dipped on her and it’s been difficult to get back into therapy. I’m working on trying to encourage her to use our colleges resources. I think she is going to go for her initial appointment next week which is good.

I’ve noticed her falling back into old habits though. She says it’s because she wants to have control over something, which I get. But also that means that she is only eating maybe 1 meal a day and poking around and maybe eating a bite or 2 of another. She’s lost a decent amount of weight in the past few months, and I’m really worried about her

She says she wants to get out of this “ED hole” but doesn’t know how. I’m no help really, I don’t have much experience with this, so i figured I’d come on here and ask for advice.

I recently have started a weight loss journey where I track my calories. I know she used to track hers, until it became obsessive for her, leading to her ED. But I almost wonder if she could healthily track her calories?? And that way she would feel like she has “control” over that? Is that a horrible suggestion? Idk.

Looking for advice on how to navigate a partner with an ED/recovering from an ED.
