I had watched season one back in 2022. This week I re-watched it, and then I watched season two. One question I kept coming back to, is why is the technology at lumon so old? In one scene the sister‘s phone looks like it’s a cell phone from 2020s, so it’s not like the show actually takes place in the 80s. But the computers at Lumon and all of the cars in every single scene are all very dated. Curious to hear thoughts.
He’s using my arm in the pink shirt as a pillow. It’s the cutest thing, but this cat does not snuggle. He always sits next to me, but this is very weird for him to be on my lap after 10+ years. I can kind of reach my water bottle and I have an hour left in the show. I’m watching, but I’m a little worried about this situation.
The calico was politely sitting on the bag. The creamsicle walked up to her and smacked her so he could have the bag.
She’s keeping me on the couch until I finish The Count of Monte Cristo. Actually, knowing her, I’ll only get through a chapter.
Tomorrow is the end of my Kindle unlimited trial. This is book number 69 for the year (nice).
It’s the third in a trilogy, and I really liked the first. I enjoyed the second. But I did not like this third book. Honestly, I’m surprised that it’s rated 4.3.
I will not be renewing my Kindle unlimited trial, I got through all the books I wanted to get through on there plus a few extras.

A few weeks ago I met a guy who said he’s a wine importer. He used to work on Wall Street.
I was thinking last night that a “wine importer” sounds like a great fake job for someone who is retired but just drinks a lot of wine! I’m pretty close to RE, and I think I might just refer to myself as “in the ice cream business”. Or, “chocolate taste tester”.

Since everyone appreciated the 4 fawns trying to nurse from one mama, here’s last night’s footage!
The two fawns had been snoozing in my yard all afternoon. Mama was in the neighbor’s yard, close enough to keep an eye on them but far enough away that they could feel independent.
She got up to come to my yard (the local deer toilet). The babies were not allowed to nurse till she was done peeing!!
A buck appeared briefly but not where I could get a video. He is probably an older brother to the fawns!
This is in New Jersey, taken from inside my kitchen. These deer know my yard. I put out fresh water every day for the critters since last summer because we are under drought conditions here.
