First test of a Devil May Cry patch.

Personally, I don't feel the result is very good. I added a D-shaped grid stitching to the background so the heat-sealable adhesive would stick better, but it seems to have compromised the result.

I would like some tips to improve the result.

After finishing this patch, the fabric became wrinkled and deformed right after I removed it from the hoop, but I managed to fix it with the heat-sealable adhesive. I used oxford fabric to make it, and a simple stabilizer , the kind that tears like paper.
