What games are you playing right now?

I´m currently playing Pokemon Ranger and Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs.

I played both like 15 years ago and I'm enjoying them so much, specially Pokemon Ranger. Can't wait to end it and start the other two games that are said to be even better!

What games are you playing lately, what games do you recommend based on what I'm playing right now?

Are this Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green real?

You can ignore the Super Mario word, pic is not mine.

Edit: Emerald, not Leaf Green.

Buy DS Pico or keep this?

I have an old R4 that works fine. I've been using my ds quite a lot lately and I was wondering if there are benefits on buying a DS Pico.

Is it fastest? Maybe safer for storing save files? Better menus?

Also I've seen prices on Ali have increased :(

Edit: I have a DS Lite

Is this a V1 or a V2?

I'm thinking of buying this Miyoo Flip, but I don't know the version.

Seller says the hinge makes a loud clack when opening, so I know it's not a 2.1.

Is there a way to know if this is a V1 or a V2 based on this pics? If not, what easy-to-answer questions shoud I ask to the seller?

Back into the world my ex and I created 4 years ago (sad)

Came back to the game after 3 years without playing and after a recient separation. We made all of this together. Hours and hours of playing and creating, and now this world feels so empty. Seeing two thones and two beds hit hard.

I thought I got over the breackup, but I guess my little inner viking didn't.

Good news is I'm excited for 1.0, for a new world and new adventures.

Skål, my friends.

Edit: Thanks everyone for the kind words ❤️

RGDS for NDS touch-heavy games?

Reciently I've found my old NDS Lite and I'm enjoying it a lot, but it has dead pixels and the screen is yellowing, so the RGDS is tempting me.
The games I'm mostly playing depend a lot on the touch screen, like Pokemon Ranger, and I was wondering if the RGDS' capacitive screen would be a problem for this kind of games.

Buying a budget phone before prices keep rising?

Hi, I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 that starts to do weird stuff with its screen every few weeks. I only use it for whatshapp, so it's not a big deal, and i'm planning on using it for as long as possible.

However, whith the recient increase of prices in tech, does it make sense buying a new phone now in case the same model is cheaper today than in a year or two?

First time doing maintenance. Looking for tips and things to avoid.

I have a PS3 Slim 3004B that has never been opened. Lately, I’ve been watching several maintenance videos and thought I might give it a try myself, after having fixed the issue with the controller flex cable.

Also, everything works fine, at least for the little use I give to it, so I was wondering if I should even bother doing it.

Here are some things I’m planning to do and a few questions about whether certain things are worth doing or if I should avoid them.

Planning on doing:

  • Cleaning it with a brush, compressed air and IPA for the tougher spots
  • Replacing the thermal paste with Arctic MX-4 (I guess 4g is more than enough)
  • Replacing the clock battery (Renata brand)

Not sure about:

  • Opening and cleaning the power supply, or just blowing compressed air through it from the outside
  • Opening, cleaning, and lubricating with silicone grease the Blu-ray drive/disc slot (it struggles to pull discs in)

Any tips, recommendations, or things I should avoid?
