Shed tear down revealed the posts were set ~ 12-14”straight into soft soil. Pulled out with my hands. Phenomenal work!
Made my first big boy purchase!
I kept the damage minimal and only ordered the No. 60-1/2, but man I’m excited to experience their craftsmanship. I’ve never held an LN tool before.
Just gotta let it dry, buff, install the hardware, package it up like I’m shipping fine china, then off to the post office!
Dealing with false readings from undersized squares?
The illustration is dramatized for visual purposes. When truing/squaring up a table leg, my most accurate square isn’t long enough to span the full width of either the face or edge. Because of this, I can get false negatives when checking for square. What’s the best way to deal with this? I’m under the impression that slight hollows in the faces and edges are ideal
Pre finishing the inside of this box. I’ve been stressed thinking about the impending glue up 😭
Making a tea bag box for my buddy as a gift. I’m working on the dividers right now. These two pieces will fit more flush, with the ‘Ref’ piece sitting proud by about 1/16”. Made with hand tools only
These have been sitting around collecting sawdust, dirt, and debris. I’d like to possibly use them soon for a scrap project. Is there something I can soak them in to clean up the ball bearings and smoothen out the glide? They work, but you can feel the grittiness when sliding them.
My go to for suitable boards is my shooting board. But for thicker stock like legs of a table, I’ll knife the sides, chamfer the waste around the edges, then plane the end flush. I’d like to discover more ways to do it and what better way then to ask the good people of this subreddit
$3.05 / bdft so I had to go big and purchased 100 bdft
Setup: single family residential home on .75 acres. Our landlord built a tiny home in the back corner to live in while he rented out the main house to 3 of us.
We have 2 adjacent storage sheds with about 95% of stuff in there being his. They span about 40’ x 12’ total, so there’s a lot of stuff.
What are his obligations in regards to clearing out the sheds when he moves? Don’t us tenants have some exclusive right to the property?
