(Spoilers Extended) Why are HOTD writers obsessed with Aegon the Conqueror's prophecy when it doesn't even make sense in the show canon?
>Aegon saw absolute darkness riding on those winds. And whatever dwells within will destroy the world of the living.
>When this Great Winter comes, Rhaenyra... all of Westeros must stand against it.
>And if the world of men is to survive, a Targaryen must be seated on the Iron Throne. A king or queen, strong enough to unite the realm against the cold and the dark.
In the show, the threat from the North was ended by Arya who is a Stark.
The realm was literally divided, not united.
A Targaryen wasn't even close to the Iron Throne, it was a Lannister sitting on it.
The only two living Targrayens actually made thing worse. One (Jon) proposed the dumb wight mission idea, another (Dany) caused the Night King to get a dragon which he used to bring down the Wall.
Why cannot Rhaenyra just take the throne because the Greens killed her sons? Why is the prophecy that is clearly false, being shoehorned in almost every episode?
About Episode 2 leak, it's disappointing.
Again, it's the goddamn prophecy.
She isn't doing it because her birthright was stolen, not because her kids were murdered, not because her life was ruined.
Rhaenyra is taking the KL because that BS prophecy which has nothing to do with her personal life.
And it doesn't even make sense in the show canon because it was a Stark who ended the long night while a Lannister was sitting on the throne and the realm was divided.
[ARA] According to sources from Brazil, Raphinha's money and family issue come from his own father, who allegedly kept 80% of the player’s rights and career earnings, without the player's knowledge. Raphinha and his wife found out about the true situation when they were trying to buy a house for 10M
en.ara.catPedri: "Julian (Alvarez) as a player, I like him a lot, and I’ve always said that I want the best players at Barcelona. But many things need to happen for that to take place.”
ca.sports.yahoo.comCondal kind of forgot about Corlys Velaryon, who was cannonically the richest guy during his time.
[Yahoo Sports] Nico Schlotterbeck is waiting for Real Madrid. He has a 50M club-specific release clause for three clubs (Bayern, Liverpool and Real Madrid according to previous reports). However, Real Madrid will work on departures before new signings.
sports.yahoo.com[Yahoo News] Real Madrid will pay 50M Euros (43M Pounds) for Cucurella, triggering his release clause.
sports.yahoo.comWe don't the writers enough. Apparently _____ is going to be an advisor to Rhaenyra this season according to most of the leaks.
After literally ruining her life and betraying her again and again, Alicent is going to be Rhaenyra's primary advisor in most of the season 3, after she pushes away Daemon's daughter and becomes distrustful of Mysaria.

So, Rhaenyra is distrustful of even her own blood, but has no qualms with the person who actually betrayed her many times.

(Spoilers Extended) How would GRRM kill Sansa Stark if he wanted?
From a recent GRRM interview, we found out that GRRM was planning to Kill Sansa but changed his plan later.

But given her plotline, I cannot see a thematically fitting death to her character.

Her direwolf was wrongfully accused and executed because of Nymeria. So maybe Sansa is executed after getting blamed for Joffrey's death or Lysa Arryn's death.

But both of these scenarios seem dumb to me. The Lannisters just executing two of the Starks? Vale lords who were fond of Ned killing his daughter?

It would be unsatisfying nonetheless.
So that horrific leak is real.
Aemond actually kisses Alicent at the end of the episode.
Condal has a (barely disguised) fetish of putting Olivia Cooke in humiliating positions.
[Defensa Central] Lamine Yamal: “Bandage on my hand when I play? Because once, I was playing with the PlayStation and hit the TV and my fingers swelled up. Then afterwards, I saw that the bandage suited me well, as if I were Karim Benzema. I remember this joke… KB9, KB9! And I kept it.”
defensacentral.comIs it Claude's time to go through enshittification as Anthropic just filed for IPO?
We have seen it again and again.
Whenever an American company files for an IPO and becomes publicly traded, their soul purpose becomes quarterly revenue growth.
They jack up prices, cut corners, try to add untested features just to appease the shareholders and so on.
The user experience or actual innovation is rarely the primary goal.
What do you think?
