Can anyone explain the appeal? I have seen it all throughout the queer subreddits (and other places such as r/CrossStitch) and I did not manage to understand how it can work if labor isn't mandatory. I know why Stalinism sucks but I need to have good counter arguments against anarchism and anarcho communism specifically.
I sometimes browse one of the big trans memes subreddit (as a trans person) and today I've seen a meme about the low amounts of communist trans people. The comments were locked but the top comments supported communism and some even said that Cuba have been more queer friendly and more communist than ever. Can anyone explain this? I thought Cuba was doing free market reforms.

And the comments said that all of the communists are accepting of trans people, but didn't Lenin and Stalin hate queer people?
So I am a nonbinary adult who wants top surgery, however in order to get said sugery here, you need a gender dysphoria diagnosis, so I talked with my psychiatrist, and she told me that she doesn't want to help me with this because she had a patient that regretted transitioning. I have been certain that I want this surgery for more than six years, and unfortunately due to various reasons I still live with my parents and they don't want me to switch psychiatrists. Does this count as transphobia, and also, should I find a new psychiatrist?
