Here is a fun topic to round out the weekend! (for U.S anyways.)

I’ve been away from WoW for a long time and I’ve missed most of the expansions, so I’m curious how YOU would rank them!

For me personally:

1. Mist Of Pandaria
2. Cataclysm
3. WOTLK
4. Dragonflight
5. TBC (Mostly because I was too young to appreciate it when it was new)
6. Classic (Again, too young)

Any of the other expansions I have not played so I can’t speak for those, only reason I have Dragonflight is because I just got back over the weekend and I was using Chromie Time to level in Dragonflight, still am.

TL;DR: How do I catch up on the story? Can I level through the expansions? How hard is it to solo older raids?

I have been away from WoW for a very long time, I stopped playing somewhere along MoP era, never even got to the endgame of that expansion.

I’m wanting to get back into WoW and there are tons of expansions I’ve missed out on. Some seem very interesting to me, so I’m curious if it’s possible to go through the older expansions.
Or is this one of the things where I level up through the main content and then I have to backtrack through the other expansions later as just for fun?

On another topic, how easy/hard is it to solo raids from the older expansions. I’m typically a solo player so would love to visit some older raids I never got to experience before.

I made a post earlier in the week for server recommendations and they were all very helpful.

After finally taking time to do some light research on all the recommendations I have narrowed it down to Whitemane Gilneas and Tauri Evermoon.

I played about an hour and a half on each server last night and both seemed great with no apparent issues, both global chats seemed active as well. I know the time was very brief but they both seem like great contenders.

So I’m hoping I could get further insight from you all who might have played on one or either of the two servers.
Because with work and life in general I don’t want to dump a bunch of time into a server only to then end up switching in the end.

On a side note as a separate question, are there any Dragonflight Servers? That’s one expansion I never had a chance to play on Retail and I’ve always been interested in.

I’ve been away from the WoW scene for a long time, last time I played retail was back in MoP. I started WoD but never got max level or hit the endgame before quitting.

Tried stormforge about a year or so ago and had a great time before taking a break. Now that I’m getting the itch to get back to some WoW action, I’ve been seeing a lot of servers having been shut down.

I have no clue which ones are good these days, and I’m not very picky about what expansion it’s on. All I’m looking for is a healthy community and that’a frankly about it.

As you can probably tell by my name I’m a big fan of ITZY, along with a ton of other groups as well.
But, along with that I’m also a big fan of gaming.

I could be wrong, but I haven’t found a space where gaming and kpop come together, or perhaps I’ve just been on the wrong side of internet.
With that said I’ve started a discord channel to rectify that, and it’s now a few weeks old so it’s still in very early stages but it’s something I’m working hard on to turn it into a proper space.

I want it to be a safe place where people can share two different passions in one unified space. You can share your love for gaming and your love for KPOP and know that there isn’t any judgement for either one. And you’ll know the people there are likeminded and share the same hobbies.

it’s called <The KPOP Lovers> but I’ve had thoughts of changing it to <The KPOP Gamers> but it’s still up in the air.
