two questions: 1. is it better to play through the original game first, or is it fine to jump right into expanded. 2. about how much extra content does the mod actually add, like how much extra playtime do you think youd get in comparison

context: a old lady twitch streamer got swatted, she was live streaming to raise money for a cancer treatment. This user tried to make it sound like this is anyone's fault besides the person who swatted her, unjustly blaming the country and the cops

this did make me laugh however when i first read it, i wonder how long they sat staring at their screen trying to think of a way to spin this to be a fault of america

What's up with Buffalo Games?

I've seen a couple people mention in passing that they tend to avoid puzzles from that company, but I haven't seen a reason why. I'm pretty new to puzzling so I'm just curious if theres any reason

I have to admit: Mamdami's strategy was genius

He ran for mayor as a outward socialist, then we he became mayor he didn't do any of the inherently socialist things he was in support of, he did a bunch of good things like fund libraries and schools more, better housing, childcare funding, etc.
Now everyone will look at those good things and be like "Wow, socialism really does work" but in reality nothing Mamdami has done has been any bit socialist, but our expectations were raised to be different since the biggest part of Mamdami's campaign was his socialism, many Americans won't know the difference.

How come so many people here try to claim the show as anti-Texas?

I see tons of people in comments, or even posts trying to act like this show was designed against Texans. The show is a stereotypical view of Texas culture, it's not meant to offend anyone (same goes for traditional values represented in the show) it jokes and makes fun of Texas stereotypes, but it's all in good fun and I'm pretty sure the largest viewer base of this show are texans.
I get that this is reddit and the common sentiment is to dislike Texas, but I'm surprised to see it on a sub about a show thats all about Texas culture.
It's not a big deal at all, but I am genuinely curious if there is any reason to believe the show was ever intended to be against Texans

How do yall feel about switching your game difficulty in your survival worlds?

With cheats disabled, you can still change your world to peaceful, easy, normal, or hard. Do you think it should be considered cheating to change your difficulty to whatever benefits you in the moment?

Putting puzzles together has always sounded extremely fun to me, the problem is, if you put a puzzle with more than 100 pieces in front of me I'd be so lost.
is there any tips for better understanding how pieces should be rotated and how to recognize the piece you need amongst all the pieces of the same color? or is it all just about practice?

I'm a teenager, outside of school and homework I feel like I have nothing to do besides waste away on the internet. whenever I try to look on youtube or google for hobby suggestions it's always the same "baking" or "drawing" which are things I've tried in the past but I struggle at getting into.
I'm open to any suggestions, I just want something that I don't feel like I'm wasting my life doing, and I wan't it to be something I can do at home
