The procurement asshole forgot to stock silverware!

Maybe this is me being vain but I really want to try and get a sub-1 second draw and fire. I feel like thats a good goal to aim for. In the video ive already hit a few reps and gotten used to my target placement, a 1/3rd size uspsa silhouette about 20ft away.
So if I want to work on my speed should I pick up a shot timer that'll do par times or should I maybe check out some YouTube videos with par time beeps?
Alternatively is there anything on my draw that is slowing me down?
I've got this pistol on my permit with a pretty aggressive prickle grip and it lowkey feels like a cheese grater on my skin. Normally I just wear a thin cheap cotton tank top under my shirt, but it tends to snag a lot on the grip. I could just work through it but I feel like someone must have a good solution here.
Im wondering if theres a certain type of fabric that might make for a better under shirt than loose cotton. Idk if anyone has any ideas id be happy to hear to them 🙏
Recently my job has been pissing me off, to piss me off must be it's purpose.
Really I think my problem is that I don't know how to relax. I'm always worried my team is gonna blow up the contract, call off, or some act of god is gonna inconvenience me. How do you guys turn it off, and just relax a bit?
Only had a minor problem with the platypus. The serial number has it listed as 25 auto. After a short argument with my IA they corrected it to reflect my training certificate.
For anyone interested in the timeline my initial application was submitted in October 2025 and pickup was today. Painfully slow.
I recently took a ccw class and was disappointed to find that I was the best shooter taking the class by far. Unfortunately the instructors' drills were limited by the newer shooters. We could've been running and gunning but ended up just doing standard stand and present type shooting.
All in all though I'd say it was a successful class, I only got flagged once. Still my experience was relatively mild, so I'm curious to see some of the crazy things that people do in a ccw class
I reached the end. Please forgive my fucked up hotbar
Today I'm having slightly burnt leftovers from yesterday. I agreed to pick up a 12 today because I thought itd be holiday pay, only to find out my company observed yesterday as the holiday. Hurts a bit. Good news is that I'll keep all 10 fingers this year.
I know its a bit ridiculous to have an optic on this gun but fuck it we ball.
Back in October I submitted an application for a ccw permit. A month later I did fingerprinting.
Fast forward 7 months and I do my interview and then get approval to take a class.
Well in that 7 month wait I aquired two new handguns I want to put on my permit, only to find out there's no way to add them to my application. I have to have an amendment made.
So I sign up for one of the handful of approved courses in my county, complete their online training just to find their classes are booked out for an unreasonable amount of time. Of course they didn't share their calendar until after I paid $250 for their class. Oh and they don't do refunds. I can't even do a chargeback because I paid with debit card.
So fuck them for that. I paid another $250 and signed up for a new class that meets next month.
Now I'm thinking "what's even the point of all this"? It's not legal for me carry hardly anywhere, I'm stuck with stock pistols, and I'm gonna have to move out of county in a few months anyways.
I feel such an acute amount of rage towards everything to do with this whole process. I'm thinking California wins this one, I'm not going to get my ccw. I just can't tolerate the never-ending inconveniences.
This video is from early June. I took 9th overall on this stage. Since then I've mostly been just doing stand and present shooting at indoor ranges. It doesn't quite scratch the same itch. I have to work today so I'm missing all the local matches.
I feel like I'm right on the cusp of being too fat for aiwb. Anyway is there anything I'm doing wrong on the draw that's slowing me down? I've got a uspsa target about 15ft away. I think I'm over confirming on the target a bit- classic.
Picked up the K6S a few days ago. Got the bodyguard today. I really like how it carries in an aiwb holster. I think these two and my p365 are all I'm going to put on my permit for now. Open to suggestions though.
I'm new to Dayz. I have maybe 8 hours in the game. I spawned in on an official server and made it my goal to get to NWAF. Well even with the Izurvive map and an orienteering compass I accidentally circled stary sober twice and then overshot NWAF and ended up in north petrovka.
Finally I did make it to NWAF but only to find it completely picked clean. I found one vega mag though. Unfortunately all that running around left me yellow hunger. I had really hoped to find food either on a zombie or a can of bacon in the barracks or something anything. Might had to dig for worms to eat.
Anyways I took a break for the server reset and figured I'd see if someone can help me formulate a game plan so I don't starve.
Just got the call from my recruiter. Bad news. My waiver is disapproved. Good news is that i can reapply in January. Maybe I'll see you guys then.
I just got a kimber k6s for ccw. Want some perspective. I have a few speedloaders and speed strips and I'm wondering what you guys actually carry.
Personally I lean towards a single speed strip. Then again if you're already carrying a revolver then by comparison a speedloader should be nothing
Lets say (in Minecraft) I got my ccw permit and then proceeded to move to a different county. You have 10 days to inform your IA and then 90 days until it expires. After that "you must return your permit" to your IA.

Well what if I just don't do that? What retaliation could that IA do against me if I don't live in their jurisdiction? What incentive would they even have to do anything?

All of this is totally hypothetical BTW I've never broken the law and don't plan on future violations
