What are peoples thoughts on no mither + plot twist countering corrupt intervention?
This is something that I personally haven't faced in any of my killer matches. But if you're unaware,a survivor using no mither and plot twist can plot twist at the start of the trial to immediately end a killers corrupt intervention. I'm mixed on how to feel about this,as it's not a super well known thing and you have to use arguably one of the worst survivor perks in the game and use another perk that doesn't function well with no mither just for the chance of coming across it. But on the other hand,it feels kind of unfair to just bypass a perk like corrupt so easily. What are other killer players thoughts on this?
After beating the base game of aw2 how long should I wait before playing the final draft, and how much of the game is changed with it?
So I just finished AW2 and I found out the ending you get is not the real ending and that you have to replay the game on final draft to get the actual ending. Not gonna lie,it took me a while to beat AW2. Not because it was hard or bad by any means but I have been playing other games and this game has kind of been on my back burner. I love Alan Wake and the series as a whole and I am dying to see what the real ending is as well as what else is changed with final draft. But I'm partially worried that I'll get burned out if I start again so soon.
My question is,is anything besides the ending changed during final draft? And how much harder is it? Should I replay the dlcs during the final draft as well?
How to have a low cortisol experience playing DBD?
(Definitely didn't just punch my fridge after having 5 terrible killer games in a row just asking for a friend)
Just watched backrooms tonight (and loved it!). I have a lot of general questions about 'him' that will probably never be answered due to the mystery of the movie and i'd like to have a discussion about it.
Like the title says,I went to see backrooms with my brother and I absolutely loved it. Undoubtedly a 9/10 movie and one of the best movies I've seen this year (honorable mention to iron lung as well,I felt so immersed watching both movies in the theater and i had an amazing experience with each one).
Pirate Clark is very fascinating to me. Obviously he doesn't look like the other 'remembered' versions of other characters and he actually bleeds which is unique as well. Personally I'm on the fence about him being a still life. He only started acting violent towards Clark when Clark started hating himself as a mirror to his emotions. But unlike other still life he attacked and killed bobby (and presumably) kat. It can't be the backrooms making more realistic still lifes,as at the end Mary's still life looks pretty similar to the other still lifes.
The only example I can think of a still life acting somewhat aggressively was when still life (barbara?) approached Clark in the Christmas section but it is unclear if she wanted to harm him. There are a lot more things I have on my mind about this movie, but because it's super late at night I just want to cover pirate clark.
What are peoples thoughts on him? Do you think he's a still life or something else? Do you think Clark intentionally got Bobby and Kat killed as a way of befriending or feeding him?
Was this atrocious autoaim or me being an idiot?
When I tried to grab Ash on the pallet I hit the rock instead. It looked like it started the grab animation for a split second but didn't. I felt a little gypped but I don't know if I just messed up. I feel like if I had messed up the grab I would've hit the pallet and not the rock,no?
First ever twins game . . .
Not gonna lie,I think if I had been playing any of my other killer mains this match would've played out much differently. Not only did I get put against a 'bully' swf,but I also got the garden of joy. BTW,they didn't even abandon because I slugged all of them. They unironically rage quit at 3 gens against a garden of joy baby twins player. On the survivor side of things, twins is my least favorite killer to go against. It's not at all twins players fault she's so poorly designed in terms of fun,and its ironic that I find her so fun to play as when she's easily my least favorite killer in the game to face.
I had a lot of fun playing her this match and I'm considering becoming a twins main now. How good is my build, and what are some good tips for her?
So what are the chances we're getting a F13 survivor or crystal lake map with this release?
With the ptb release being an hour away,I wanted to ask a last minute question. What are the chances of tommy jarvis or another f13 character being a survivor with this release along with a crystal lake map? Personally, even though I'm glad jason being an original like ghostface has been debunked I think I'll still be a little disappointed if we don't even get a crystal lake map with this. I've heard that JU has the rights to crystal lake and tommy jarvis meaning BHVR could theoretically have both a survivor and map with the release. But ofc, they have not confirmed we're getting a map (although the shack coming back could be a potential tease?). I've also heard people say the same thing happened with springtrap last year, where it was never revealed we were getting a freddy fazbear's map until the ptb. A survivor is different ofc,but I'm still going to cope that we're at least getting a map with this ptb.
What are everyone's thoughts on this?
Am I the only one who finds more attraction in unpopular characters/cosmetics?
Not sure if I'm alone in this, but I prefer playing survivors/killers that you don't see often as well as using cosmetics you don't see much either. Now,even though most of the survivors in the meme are from ips I actually enjoy (besides baermar,I love fantasy media but I've never played dnd) that's not the only reason. I dunno,I just find myself more drawn to characters and skins that nobody really uses.
I would include killers but survivors are basically glorified cosmetics and generally speaking there's a reason the unpopular killers are unpopular.
So I've been playing with my brother, and have every boss in inkwell isle 3 beat besides Cala Maria and Dr Kahl. Cala Maria is the one we've been trying most but she feels so rng dependent and we've had few runs past her 2nd phase. What are some tips to make her fight easier?
As the title says,my brother and I have been playing through cuphead recently and we're currently on inkwell isle 3. We've beat every boss up to that point besides Cala Maria and Dr Kahl. Lately she's the boss we're putting the most time into. We've gotten to the second phase consistently but have barely gotten to the third phase at all. Her first phase just feels so dependent on bullshit rng and some of the mashups like the pufferfish and ghost or turtle and ghost feel almost impossible to not lose health during (especially without smoke bomb, which I've personally found really helpful for the fight).
It's gotten so frustrating that we've kind of given up on trying to beat the base game and have moved on to the dlc, where we're currently up to the howling aces. Are there any good tricks to make her fight easier in co op? My brother has been using chalice, and I've been using the smoke dash charm. Are those good for the fight or should we switch things up?
