Gaming PC?

So I’m looking to eventually get a gaming PC set up. I don’t really feel like dropping 1000s of dollars on one. Just a simple set up for a new PC gamer. I’m mostly a console gamer, I also have a gaming laptop but obviously that’s just not gonna cut it for the most part. What would you guys recommend?

What is this?

I keep finding these dead bugs

Im in Northeast US. So I just moved into my new place and I keep finding these dead bugs in the kitchen. I also saw one in the toilet the other day. lol I looked them up and they don’t appear to be a form of cockroach. Possibly a soldier beetle? It seems like they’re getting in and dying over night? Can anyone ID what they are and how I can stop them from coming in?

Making gamer friends seems harder than it used to

Btw I’m a 28yo man. I feel that when we were younger it was so much easier to make gaming friends online. Now it seems like no one even likes to talk while gaming. You might meet someone and have fun gaming with them one time, but then never speak again. lol maybe I just don’t put enough effort in. I’ve got less talkative over the years, I barely even have friends irl anymore. All I do is work and sit inside. Everyone is too busy having kids or devoting all of their time to their girlfriends/wives. Even when I was with my recent girlfriend I tried making time for my friends but they all kind of disappeared. Is this apart of just getting older? 😂 I feel that life should be a little more exciting at 28. Is this why gamers talk less? Is everyone just depressed? lol

Edit- I’d also like to add that I’m a console gamer. Mostly Xbox, but I have a PS5 now as well

28M looking for some friends

EST time zone and I usually play in the morning after work or on my days off. I’m down to play pretty much whatever. I usually play Forza, RDR2, Battlefield 6, and I liked Arc Raiders a bit when I played it a few times.

I’m just looking to get back into multiplayer gaming and have fun. Not trying to sweat or anything lol just good fun with friends.

I’m on Xbox, I also have a PS5 but I usually just play my single player games on that.

Why do some people refuse to hold accountability for their actions?

Why do some people refuse to take accountability for their actions and look to blame anyone but themselves? I had an ex like this and it was quite disturbing how much she blamed anyone but herself for shitty things she’s done to put herself in bad situations. Or if she would treat people badly she would just say it’s not what it seemed. I remember one time a child walked in front of us while we were at the store (I guess he saw something he wanted. lol) and the mother apologized. I was like oh it’s okay no worries and my girlfriend at the time (now ex) gave her a very dirty look. I was like wow seriously? What was that about? Her response was “I didn’t even say anything”. Then I’d say well you made a very nasty face? She would say “no I didn’t”. It was mind boggling to me. lol I’m glad I walked away from this relationship. But I found it very odd she was like this. Is this considered a form of narcissism or something of the sorts?

Battle Royale games are boring

Man I don’t understand how people get so into these battle royal games. I played some a few times. I like Arc Raiders but after like 3 games I just get bored. You’re just collecting loot and going back. Or fighting for first place in some battle royales. People can like what they like. I’m just curious if there’s a lot of people that feel the same way. They’re just so tedious and boring. I feel like once Fortnite blew up everyone started making Battle royale games and I’m sad they stuck.
