Wh'appen? by The English Beat (2024 reissue)
Always preferred I Just Can't Stop It but this album is growing on me. Like the vibe and the "slow burn" quality of the songs.

Just picked this up...used to have this in my collection. Really love the interplay of the musicians and I would listen to Michael Brecker doing the ABCs song. Sounds great and as fresh as ever.

Fuchsia
Bought this reissue on a whim. Prog rock, heavy on orchestration and a lot of beautiful acoustic gutiar. Originally released in 1971.
One of my all time favorite albums from the 80s. Steve Lilywhite, who produced U2's first three albums and The Joshua Tree, really produced the heck out of this one. Original pressing and vocals and instrumental parts crystal clear in the mix. Love the drum sound throughout and, of course, when you have guitars rigged so they sound like bagpipes...chef's kiss.

Paris- self titled debut
Love the energy of this Bob Welch led group. (Also has bassist formerly from Jethro Tull who I always liked.)
They may not have invented Power Pop, but they certainly embodied it.
This may not be a popular opinion but I always preferred this album to their debut. The title track is amazing and I really dig the alt country vibe. Bought the half-speed master and it is worth every penny and more.
Bought this for myself last year for a bday present. Besides sounding amazing, this is a great collection of songs. A must for Neil fans.
Always an amazing listen. Favorite: Perpetual Change- the drum solo and the way they stop on a dime at the end of the song-chef's kiss 💋.
"So which group is your favorite fusion album by? Spyro Gyra, Return to Forever, Weather Report?" My answer:
For a swan song, this album rocks! All the Best is one of their best songs imho (and an actual swan song!) and Uberlin may be my favorite song of theirs.
Love the vibe of this album, especially Have a Good Time and Ooh I like your loving.
1969 debut album. This was recorded live and it is solid all the way through. He sounds like an assured veteran, not an artist who is putting out his first album.
Love this album so much. George Benson: incredible guitarist and amazing vocalist.
The album that brought reggae and ska to the masses.
