Are there any good book on wiring access control?

Is there anything in particular I could use that I could use to power old electronics such as HiFis that won’t cause my electrics to trip?

I currently work in Fire and Security. I am looking to get more involved with Electrical Engineering. I have a degree in Computer Science. Are there any go to books I can buy off Amazon?

I have found a house for sale. For 175k. I am after some advice on the house please and whether it is possible for someone on their own to afford and renovate the property?

I have been watching Mend It Mark. Hes a great guy. Any ideas as to what soldering and desoldering irons he uses and the models?
