Looking for a certified health coach / trainer for a short remote video gig

Not selling anything, and not looking for patients, so mods pull this if it's not allowed.

I help a small telehealth wellness brand and I'm hiring a certified coach or trainer for a few short videos. On camera only. We hand you the script, you film yourself at home, someone else edits. Paid per video.

If that's you (or you know someone), please send me a message and I'll send you a link to apply! Happy to answer questions in the comments.

[Hiring] Certified health/fitness coach to be on camera for a short video series (remote, ~$200-250/video)

I handle marketing for a telehealth wellness brand, and we're making a short 5-part welcome series for new customers. I'm looking for someone certified (health coach, personal trainer, RD, whatever your expertise) to be the face on camera.

The setup's lighter than it probably sounds. You don't write and you don't edit. We send the script, you record yourself at home off a simple shot list, you send back the raw clips, and our editor takes it from there.

One of the five is a little different: it walks through injection technique with a training/demo device. Fully scripted, no real medication, nothing graphic. If that's a no for you, no worries, just say so up front.

Pay's around $200-250 a video, five total, and I'll do a package rate for the whole set. What I actually need from you: a real cert you're comfortable stating on camera, decent lighting, and a mic.

If you're interested, send me a message and I'll get you the link to apply!

Which one is best? Need some advice!

I have a relative who is currently choosing between options, and I wanted to see if you all had opinions. What do you actually pay? Does it include the medication? Are they easy to work with? What are the key pros and cons?

She is deciding between:

  • Peak Wellness
  • Hers
  • Henry Meds
  • Ivím Health
  • Join Fridays
  • Ro

Edit: I read through a few posts but still saw some uncertainties, especially with Pomegranate. Also, I will tell her to avoid Mochi at all costs! Thanks for the warning! ❤️

Amylin vs GLP-1s

I was looking into amylin (I find this stuff fascinating) for anyone who hasn’t heard of it yet, Amylin is a new drug class in the works as an alternative to or to pair with GLP-1s.

They work similarly but:
- GLP-1 = controls all-day appetite + controls blood sugar in general
- Amylin = controls feeling full after eating, not all day + controls blood sugar spikes after eating

Who is curious to try it as an alternative?

Switching from an in-person clinic to telehealth, how does dose matching work?

Helping a friend who's getting priced out of semaglutide at a local med spa. Moving to online telehealth. I'm on tirz myself so I know the basics, but neither of us has switched while already on a steady dose.

Questions:

  1. Did your new provider keep you at your current maintenance dose, or restart you at 0.25mg? Do they just want a photo of the script label or vial box to verify?

  2. Anywhere that's flat month-to-month, no 3-month upfront contract, no membership fee?

  3. Which ones actually ship with proper cold packaging?

If you've done this jump, how long did intake and shipping take? Thanks.

Fifty410 order late

I ordered from Fifty410 almost 1 month ago. Ironically I went with them because I read that they had a really fast approval to delivery timeframe. It has been almost a month and I haven't heard anything or received medication. I know one other person who is having a similar issue, going on 3-weeks now. Is anyone else in the same boat without their prescription?

What I learned after two months on compounded tirz

I am two months into taking compounded tirzepatide. I spent my first few weeks completely paranoid and overthinking every detail, so I wanted to share a few things I actually learned.

  1. Food choices do not need to be perfect early on.

I used to stress about hitting exact macro splits or forcing down protein bars that tasted like rocks. Now I just focus on staying hydrated and finding soft, bland protein options that do not mess with my stomach. I have been mixing unflavored Isopure with Strawberry Carnation Breakfast every morning because it is the only thing I do not get sick of. It is much easier to give your body a break than to force down heavy meals.

  1. Sourcing the medication can be simple

I worried that switching to compounds meant dealing with weird portal tech and hidden monthly fees. I ended up choosing Peak Wellness mostly to get the decision over with, and the process has been seamless. There are no monthly membership traps, the pricing is flat, and the box arrives on ice. I'm sure other providers are also great but this has also made the process more tolerable.

  1. Prevent constipation before it starts

Do not wait until you are miserable to start dealing with side effects. Putting chia seeds in my morning coffee and taking Miralax once a day completely solved the issue for me.

For people who are further along, did you have to change your routine much around month three or four, or did you just keep doing the same things?

TIA!

Tips for constipation

I have found some invaluable tips that work well for me. I know every body is different, but I wanted to share them for anyone who's struggling because I know it's a really common challenge.

  • Miralax 1x a day
  • Chia seeds in my coffee every morning
  • Lots of water
  • Digestive enzymes: papaya enzymes for meat or "Digest Gold" for heavy dairy
  • Magnesium Citrate for big time issues

What are some strategies other people are using?

GLP-1 meetups online or in-person

I have been to a few meetups myself both online and in-person. I am just curious how many people are traveling to meet each other or joining support groups online? It feels like GLP-1 patients bond more than the average online friendship. I'm guessing it's because we instantly have something personal in common.

Looking for soft bland protein foods that aren't a shake or bar

I'm always looking hunting for the next best protein option that's not too heavy. Currently I mix unflavored Isopure with Strawberry Carnation Breakfast. It's the only thing I haven't gotten sick of yet. Does anyone have some suggestions that are not a shake (since I like the one I have) or bars? Bars are like trying to eat a stone most of the time and they just don't digest well or appeal anymore.

I mean more like yogurt, or something soft that isn't too flavorful.

Free coaching services from telehealth clinics?

I've noticed that a lot of clinics bundle health coaching into their plans. I'm wondering if it's worth the extra cost. What have your experiences been like?

Does anyone else feel inundated with 'coupon codes' and aggressive marketing tactics when shopping telehealth providers?

Been shopping around telehealth providers and doing research on compounded tirzepatide options. How does everyone else feel about these aggressive marketing tactics?

I'm not trying to bash Peak Wellness. A friend uses them and I saw decent reviews on another subreddit, but the marketing is super aggressive, and I've seen this a lot in the telehealth space as I'm doing more research.

What's everyone else's thoughts? How do you typically shop for the right telehealth provider?

Switching from Zepbound to compounded tirzepatide. Anyone done it?

My Zepbound has been getting harder to find at pharmacies. Last month I drove to 4 different places before one had my dose. I'm tired of the stress. A friend told me about Peak Wellness and that they ship compounded tirzepatide. Is it actually the same thing? Will I notice a difference in how it works or how I feel? I've been on Zepbound for 14 months and finally have my dose dialed in. Nervous to mess with something that works.
