In particular, I am referring to being able to reanimate or resurrect a giant/kaiju sized being like Thamur or a Titan from the GOW Greek Saga.
I also liked how Subutai quickly utilized on the debut appearance of Ronova (God's Limits Interlude), as well as putting her in a bit of a friendlier light (even though she still comes off as mysterious). It makes sense that she would seek an audience with Xbalanque, considering that the man killed one of the Seven Sovereigns (the very enemies that pressed the Heavenly Principles in the War Of Funerary Flame).
Not to mention that I also loved Subutai's depiction of Xbalanque (especially since we never got his actual appearance in game) Xiuhcoatl, and Och-Kan. Pretty much the entire cast XD
I know that Rome fell by the hands of barbarians (people that Rome deemed beneath them), as well as the in-fighting that took place in that nation. It be pretty poetic, on God's part, if the Romans were defeated by the very thing that they saw as inferior.
Not to mention that every great nation in the Bible, had been humbled by God in some shape or manner
I have been watching videos of Troy recently and I couldn't help but find a similarity.
Achilles, by himself, going to Troy's Gates to challenge Hector low-key reminds me of Fingolfin (by himself) going to Angband and challenge Morgoth to single combat.
Additionally, like Achilles, Fingolfin went to challenge the enemy out of anger and despair. Achilles challenges Hector because Hector killed Patroclus and Fingolfin challenges Morgoth because of the devastating losses of the Dagor Bragollach.
Now I can't but help imagine a meeting between Fingolfin and Achilles. I bet Achilles would respect the Noldor King by a huge amount XD
After all, like Ulmo, Gandalf also cares about the Children of Illuvatar. Certainly a lot more than several other Ainur. I know that he was sent to Middle Earth by Manwe to do so, but still.
Additionally, like Ulmo, Gandalf also orchestrates events that ensure the defeat of the 2 major villains (Sauron and Morgoth) even though Eru Illuvatar played some part in them. Gandalf orchestrated events to ensure the defeat of Sauron (Destruction of the One Ring) while Ulmo orchestrated events to ensure the defeat of Morgoth (Earendil and War of Wrath).
I ask this since I don't be seeing a lot of Chained Soldier crossover fics
For me, one example would be Devil May Cry. I think the Sons of Sparda interacting with the MDF and Thunder Gods could make for some interesting story. Not to mention that both Dante and Kyouka hate demons due to their respective families being destroyed by said demons, as well as both being swordsmen XD
Doesn't help that Tulkas is the Valar literally associated with contests of strength and wrestling XD
To elaborate further, when Tulkas came to aid the Ainur and tip the scales in their favor against Morgoth, Morgoth fled Arda for long ages.
That low-key reminds me of when a baby-face comes to the ring and causes the heel to get out of or flee said ring. In this context, the ring is Arda. Tulkas is the obvious babyface and Morgoth is the obvious heel.
Hell, I can picture Jim Ross saying on comnentary that Morgoth ran like a "scolded dog" XD
I know that Turin is said to be the one to bring down Morgoth (in which all humanity will be avenged), but I think that Hurin would be a good contender.
After all, his grandson Elros, lived to be 500 years old. No doubt due to his lineage.
I use to think that Dior may have been immortal/longeaval due to Luthien's heritage, but after doing further research, I am now among those who believe him to be mortal. After all, his wife Nimloth, was undoubtedly a pure elf. And their daughter Elwing was given the choice of mortality or immortality by the Valar and Eru. Why else would she be given the choice were it not for one of her parents being mortal?
Regardless of mortality, due to the potency of his lineage (especially being the first of his kind), I believe that Dior would have lived for centuries, with a lifespan rivaling Elros and the Numenorians.
- A common theme in the Silmarillion is that the nature of humans is strange to the Eldar and Ainur. Eru Illuvatar, on the other hand, would know. After all, he created humanity, so he would know better anyone else.
- They have a mountain (Meneltarma) that's devoted to the worship of Eru Illuvatar, so it's not like they don't know who he is. One idea I have is that the Numenorians deliver a message to Manwe, who would then deliver it to Eru Illuvatar. In other words, they would want the Valar to deliver a message to Eru as to why they are mortal and what happens to them once they pass away.
- Even though Manwe is the King of Arda, that was personally appointed by Eru, it's been apparent that he is not perfect and all-knowing. In fact, he occasion, he goes to Eru to consult issues that are strange or difficult to him. With that being said, he is the closest in mind and heart to Illuvatar. He could deliver the message or request to Illuvatar. And once Eru gives a response, Manwe would give that response to the Eldar messengers, who would then deliver the message to the Numenorians.
There is something that I found satisfying or epic about Earendil meeting the Valar. I know that we are familiar with the Valar long BEFORE his story, but still. Earendil tanding before the Valar low-key reminds me of some NDE stories that I listened. Whether or not those NDE stories are real are irrelevant to me at the moment. What matters is the visuals they give to me mentally or physically. Not to mention that Earendil and Elwing was the first people of Middle Earth in a LONG time to enter Valinor and see it's sights.
I also found it epic when Earendil went through the Door of Night. This is particularly due to the phrases I get in that passage. These phrases and words would mainly include oceans of heaven, seas of heaven, starless voids, and voyages beyond the confines of the world. As someone who is a fan of outer space and the things within it, I like to think that Earendil saw some beautiful and magnificent things up there while on Vingilot.

When it comes to the Owls of Gahoole, I am more so referring to the 2010 movie, for I never read the book.
In that movie, the owls fought with skill that I haven't quite seen from other birds in other movies. Not to mention that the fights were done realistically, showcasing the animators' research on owls.
Additionally, the Eagles of Manwe are shown to be quite intelligent, so I wouldn't put it past them to have skill in combat. Thorondor especially, since he is the Eagle King, scarred Morgoth and may have aided Earendil in fighting Ancalagon. .
Of course, I would also want Joe Mad (Darksiders Creator) to work alongside Genndy in creating the series.
