4 month wake windows and naps

My 4 month old has been a good sleeper since about 2.5-3 months. He goes down about 8:00/8:30pm and sleeps until about 5:30/6:00am. Rare to no MOTN wakes. Our routine is fairly lax. I’m pretty lax about wake windows. He’s awake when he wants to be and sleeps when he wants to. I thought his wake windows would end up naturally increasing to around 75-90min. But they are pretty much 60 minutes on the dot. Pushing him past that makes him overtired and he’s kind of a bear to get settled for a nap at that point. Everything I see says at this point they’ll only need about 3-4 naps a day. But homeboy is napping at least 5 times a day. Some are short 30-40 minute naps. Maybe a 1.5 hour nap midday. But is this a bad thing? I’m kinda one of those “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” kinda people. This is my first kid, though. Do I need to push those windows? He gets his calories and playtime in. He’s on his milestone marks so far. He’s a pretty happy little dude for the most part.

Thomas Kinkade Painting

Found this at Goodwill and initially just liked the painting as it appears and feels like it is on real canvas. Is this real Thomas Kinkade? On canvas. Matted frame. The paper covers the back so I can’t see it and didnt know if it was frowned upon to remove it?

2 month old sleeping (too much?)

My baby just turned 2 months old. He’s been a pretty decent sleeper from the jump (for being a NICU baby) and would give me consistently 2-2.5 hr stretches since newborn. He sleeps swaddled in his bassinet. He just recently started giving me about 3-4 hour stretches. Last night he did a 8 hour stretch and it almost freaked me out. I thought it was too long to go without eating even tho we are cleared to not wake for feeds. He was up long enough to change and feed. Back to sleep for another 3 hours! He woke up at 730, ate and interacted for a few minutes and fell back asleep. Is this normal??? He is doing new things lately like cooing, smiling, tracking etc. so maybe a growth spurt??

Fridge to counter breastmilk

Pretty sure I just fed my 7 week old a bottle that had been refrigerated and brought to room temp and then sat on counter for approx 4hrs. He drank about 2oz before I realized. I discontinued the bottle. It was not rancid smelling and was not separated or curdled. I tasted it myself and it did not have any foul taste. Not sure what to do now, I’d be devastated if I made him sick.

23 days in- just enougher

We are 23 days into this journey and I’m barelyyyy a “just enougher” and it’s weighing on me constantly. Baby is going through a little growth spurt and eating 2-2.5 oz every 2 hours. I’m pumping every 2-3 hours and getting 2-2.5 oz. Im doing 1-3 MOTN pumps, but try to get a 4 hour stretch of sleep while my husband takes over. A few times I’ve gotten 3oz but that’s not often. I can usually stay about 1-2 bottles ahead of him, but he’s been eating more often and I’m basically pumping for what he eats. We may start combo feeding, which I feel guilty about, even though my pre-baby self said I would never feel guilty about that. I wish I could build my supply up to just get a few bottles ahead of him. Or even freeze some! I’m getting so discouraged. My PP experience has been rough between a rough NICU stay and my supply. I attribute my troubles to the NICU stay and not being able to be with him immediately and doing all the things like latching and skin to skin. But ultimately I’m just feeling disappointed.
