For the past few months I've been going to the gym trying to improve my stationary cycling time. I heard that HIIT is effective for increasing aerobic fitness, so I tried to do that, but I realized I can't last that long for the exercise to be effective. Then I came across long duration moderate intensity exercise. I tried that, but now I realize that I can't handle even a moment of my muscle aching. What can I do so that I can actually progress?

I've been going to the gym consistently for about 1-2 months now. Previously I have never worked out in my life. Recently I realized that it's harder to do the same workout at gym, meaning I can't do the same number of reps at the same intensity. Previously I also face the problem of plateau, which is why I started going to the gym instead of doing exercises at home. Does anyone know how can I get better without getting stuck?

They are screwed. They have effectively fried their brain; their attention span is too short for them to do anything productive, the willpower is fried because their tonic dopamine levels are too low, and the constant scrolling has made them too addicted to ease and can't push themselves in challenging situations to succeed. The constant scrolling also activates their habenula, the brain's anti reward center that conditions someone to stop doing something or less likely to do something, whenever the content is not up to expectations, further reducing their resilience in the face of challenging situations.
