It takes an exhausting amount of self-control not to type your name and send you a message.
I thought I shouldn't. Not because I don't want to talk to you anymore but because I don't really know if I should. I was waiting for you the whole day to reach out again. But you didn't. And I thought, "Ahh, this may be it". This is the inevitable end. Because, let's be honest, we know it's bound to happen anyway. We just prolonged our agony for a couple of days - acted normally like we finally figured it out. But who are we kidding, really? But even though I knew that what we had will eventually end, I hoped even just for a little bit, that it wouldn't, at least for a while.
I checked our messages a couple of times already, fearing that it will disappear into thin air - as if everything did not happen. Are you thinking the same thing? Are you feeling the same thing as what I am feeling right now? Will you still send me a message? Will you make a proper goodbye? But I thought there will be no goodbyes?
I can still hear in my head how softly you call my name.
I don't know. Why did you even come into my life just to mess with my head and heart? But, yeah…
Cause our worlds just didn't collide. You had yours and I had mine.

Trying to conceive (TTC) couple kami pero hindi as active as others kasi seaman ang partner ko. Every since, ang mantra ko ay ‘kung ibibigay edi ibibigay. Kung hindi, okay lang din’. So we’re just trying it naturally. But as years pass by, papunta na kami sa age na pa-risky na magbuntis (mid 30s), so we decided na magpa-check-up na sa OB namin bago umuwi soon si partner, para “mag-prepare” (in a sense). The check-up was okay - I was prescribed with vitamins and something for egg formation and was asked to do an ultrasound to check eggs and follicles.
After the check-up, while driving, nasabi ko bigla na “Lord, di na po ito bahala na. Intentional na po ito. I’m actively doing something for us to conceive”. And I don’t know what hit me, I just cried. I had to pull over kasi iyak talaga ako ng iyak. Di ko din exactly alam anong iniiyak ko (siguro factor din na red day today) pero yung iyak ko talaga. Scared? Unsure? Overthinking things? Overwhelmed? Perhaps all of everything.
I never thought this will feel this way 🥺
As the title suggests haha! Parang nakulangan kasi ako sa alcohol content ng SanMig Apple ko tonight, at Captain Morgan lang ang meron akong stock dito, so pinaghalo ko na. In fairness naman, masarap naman pala siya. Kala ko pang coke lang ang Captain Morgan eh 😅
