Langley Advance Voting Starts Today October 6th

For anyone looking to vote early in the 2026 Langley civic elections, advance voting begins today in both the Township of Langley and City of Langley.

Township of Langley

📍 salishan Place by the River, 23430 Mavis Avenue, Fort Langley

⏰ 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

City of Langley

📍 Timms Community Centre, 20399 Douglas Crescent

⏰ 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

There are additional advance voting opportunities over the coming days, with General Voting Day on October 17th.

Whichever municipality you live in, take the opportunity to learn about the candidates and issues and make your vote count.

Please vote - local elections directly impact the communities we live in every day.

Firefighters from the Township of Langley will be stationed at various locations across the township from September 11th to 13th to raise awareness and funds for their annual ‘MD Boot Drive’ in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

It is with very heavy hearts that we share our condolences on the passing of Jim McGregor a true "Soroptimist’er" and a wonderful friend to our organization.

Jim understood what Soroptimism is all about. He believed in giving back, lifting others up and strengthening the community around him. He was always there to support the work we do and the women and girls we serve.

His kindness, generosity, humour and genuine commitment to community will be deeply missed.

To Jim’s family, friends and everyone whose life was touched by him, we extend our heartfelt condolences.

Thank you, Jim, for standing beside us, believing in our mission and showing us what it means to serve with heart.
