Is it possible to have more than 1 sun god fruit out in existence ? People will say it’s to broken having multiple gods and that’s it undermines luffy nika form. To which I argue.
No it doesn’t, it just depends on how oda writes it.

Now vp explains that devil fruits come from peoples desire to evolve. Essentially if you dream it then it comes into existences.

Now I say the truth is much more complicated than that but I think it’s close enough.

The thing is this is all fine with typical concepts and such, take enel lighting fruit, everyone agrees on what lighting is you will never see an intelligent debate on what is and isn’t electricity.
But with the idea of gods that is to vague.

Take the real world there’s people arguing the interpretation of the bible all the time, some think it’s metaphorical while others think it’s literal, there are Christian’s, Jewish, Hindus, Buddhist etc,
All with their own ideas on what god is, hell these groups are split into smaller groups cause even if you believe in the same god you might not have the same interpretation.
So with the sun god the giants are arguing that nika is a god of liberation another says no he’s destruction and another says he’s laughter while another says it’s pointless as the text is to ancient to truly understand.

So the gum gum fruit came into existence because that’s how people envisioned nika.
But what if people imagined the sun god to be completely different and has nothing to do with rubber ?
They go for a more literal interpretation and say the sun god is a god of fire.
The mera mera fruit is another sun god fruit and there is some argument.

Back when ace fought bb, bb said let’s see which is stronger darkness or the sun.

Recently we see sabo getting praise for killing cobra as he’s called the flame emperor and someone is heard saying that people are worshipping him like he’s a god.

So following this logic I would argue that the mera fruit is in fact a god fruit, now it’s not a zoan like luffy it is still a logia but it is a fruit that is associated with the sun god.
Might explain why hajrudin was so keen on getting it in dressrosa before he lost the tournament.

It’s been explained that awakening means when a person unlocks their df powers potential where they completely sync up with the fruit itself.
But I don’t think that’s the full story, I believe there is actually tiers to it and once you reach all the tiers you reach a level called mastery.

So in this theory I will explain how I think it works.

I think it works similar to the Kardashev scale model,
This is a scientific theoretical level based on how advanced a civilisation is based on the main source of energy they consume.

Type 1, is renewable energy, like wind and hydro.
Type 2, is solar level. This is not the same as solar panels but more we are able to produce energy equal to a star.
Type 3. Is galactic energy, being able to enough power to alter the galaxy around us.
We are type 0. We don’t even land on the scale yet as we still depend on fossil fuels and have limited potential.

This is how I see it.
Another way is to compare it to super sayian.
You have sayian which is just their normal every day life.
Super sayian 1.
Super sayian 2
Super sayian 3.
Not counting super which is that just with god ki added.

So in this theory let’s compare it to luffy first.

Type 0 luffy is him the day he ate his fruit all the way to the end of the first half of the story.

Type 1 is gear 4th. This is where luffy begins to awaken his fruit,
It’s when he begins to go beyond what was normal with his base powers. We can see the hagoromo ( the ribbon ) begin to form.
But he hasn’t reached full tier 1 yet. Think of this as tier 0.9. What holds him back is the time limit and the energy drain it gives him.

But he did master it by the time we get to elbaf as he demonstrated that he can now just go in and out of g4 whenever, he doesn’t need to breath into his muscles, he doesn’t get drained as much and can limit it to the parts of his body he can wants to use it on.
Example in 2nd image.

This is when Luffy truly mastered type 1 awakening.

Type 2 is nika.

Here he has a new form and we see the hogoromo more complete,
If type 1 is his mastery of his body then type 2 is how it affects the environment around him.

Now there is repercussion’s to this level.

But in short I believe luffy df will over take his mind and body for a time and he will have to fight it back to gain control. This is what happened to the impel down beast guards who lost their freedom to the fruits will.

Maybe theoretical physicists believe in the Kardashev model that a civilians will short of go through a test towards the end of type 0 that determines if they reach type 1.
Due to how the civilisation is dependent on fossil fuels there is a number of issues that arise from it.

1. The harm it does to the environment, 2, what happens when it runs out and we didn’t figure out how to evolve, 3, resource control leading to wars.

Type 0 is pure primitive and due to limits to resources it leads to wars being fought over resource. For example what is currently going on right now in Iran and America.
America invaded to gain control of its oil and Iran shut off it supply route which created a higher demand and prices went up.
With the invention of nuclear energy either the civilisation comes out better for it and evolves to a point where resources are not limited and wars become much less common or they end up wiping themselves out with nukes.

Similarly the same can be said with this level for zoan users.
If they aren’t careful their wills get taken over by the fruit and they lose their sense of self.
So for Luffy to reach his final tier to truly master this fruit he will have to essentially square off with the will inside the fruit itself and conquer it making it his own.
He will then enter tier 3 which is true ability to bend reality around himself where he truly becomes the sun god.
His hagoromo will transform into a full circle make of flames becoming an omen/halo like Imu and Zaza.
Mimicking the sun.

So if tier 1, is mastering his own body and tier 2 is his environment I think tier 3 is affecting his reality being able to in theory lend his strength to others like Imu did with the knights.

I believe characters like king queen and sasaki all reached tier 1 as they can do some wild things that don’t make sense like king shooting his face like a canon.

But let’s look at a none zoan user as a I think it affects people different based on the type of fruit.

Let’s look at brook.

His tier 0 is him still being alive doing what the fruit is suppose to do.

Now tier 1 is him becoming a ghost and able to leave his body. This is a skill he accidentally developed during the time skip. This isn’t something he could have done before this is a power that truly evolved.

Tier 2 is what he did on wci where he was able to suppose a sort of demonic ghost being behind himself who was able to instant kill all the chess piece homies big mom created

My guess is tier 3 is when he gains the true power to use the power of the after life and use it to affect the souls of the people around him alive or dead.
He will be able to knock out weaker people mimicking coc.

So to summarise it all.

I believe devil fruits have levels of awakening before you truly master it and while it affects different fruits in their own ways the point is each tier leaves you with more control on what your fruit can do for you.

So first off this is just an idea, nothing serious, so if you don’t have anything to discuss and all you can think of saying is something rude or sarcastic then just don’t comment.

Second, this isn’t something I believe but it’s a fun idea nonetheless.
This is like the title says a break week theory.
So carrot could become a god fruit user.
With the introduction of Zaza as the rain god it reminds of a combination of Indra and Indrani.
Indra is the Hindu god of weather and the king of the devas ( gods ) Indrani is his wife.
They ride an elephant named airvatar who is the king of elephants who uses his trunk to poor rain across the land.
Now this reminds me of zunesha,
Like airvatar Zunesha pools water on its back acting like rain which Wanda calls a blessing.
And there have been a few covers of elephants acting like shower heads or watering cans so oda is drawing a parallel to zunesha and rain perhaps.

Now carrot being the queen of zou I don’t think makes much sense with her having no leadership skills no Desire for it she’s not even the strongest mink.
It would have been better to have Wanda in no is written as the wiser mink who everyone listens to be the queen and carrot being her assistant

So perhaps the idea is carrot is suppose to meet some prophecy

In the 2nd image you will see 2 volume covers.
At first glance you will say the first image was foreshadowing the future yonko but I instead think it’s something more.
This is Davy jones and joyboy. I believe buggy is connected to Davy as a sort of spiritual carrier of his will like luffy is to joyboy.
Bb carries jones blood and I believe shanks carries the blood of joyboy.
So this image showcases the 4 legacies of dj and jb
Then there’s the goat and carrot.
So what I’m think is this. The goat is a representation of Imu. Imu design is based off the devil and goats are heavily associated with the devil.

There is this old theory that sengoku goat is under Imu control how it eats documents and follows sengoku around and while anime only there is a scene where sengoku talks about god valley says it vanishes and no one knows what happened to it then the goat comes into frame looks at the 4th wall and smiles. Bit in the nose.
So this image shows Imu standing in the middle of his 2 greatest enemies Davy jones and joyboy.

So then what is carrot.
If the images parallel one another then perhaps carrot represents someone who is the opposite of Imu.

One idea is the rain god.

Another is the sea god. It was mentioned by Vegapunk that the sea god cursed the devil fruits so that they cannot swim in the sea. In Japan the sea is associated with rabbits as shown in image 3 and 4.
There are several stories of the rabbit being associated with the sea like one story is Nami ni Usagi which means the rabbit and the waves which is a story about the moon rabbit dancing on the waves on clear nights.
Should be mention Nami and carrot do have a sisterly bond.
So then the theory is Imu enemy is the sea god named umi which means sea and is Imu backwards.

The final idea is perhaps the carrot in the image is the moon god.
I believe Imu is the earth god and luffy is the sun god which makes me think of what oda said about the swirls on the devil fruits ( and sanji eyebrow ) how the sun moon and earth circle one another.

Rabbits are associated with the moon in many Asian cultures like Hinduism and Shinto belief

It’s possible the moon god is associated with the sea and rain gods due to how the moon has an affect on the sea and rain in real life and mythology.

Anyway just a fun idea on what those cover pages can mean.

Most people do not expect big mom and kaido are dead, immediately after they fell into the magma pit we saw a volcano eruption and the idea is it shot both of them into the sky.

So what exactly is next for these 2 ?

Well with big mom I believe her story isn’t over just yet, there’s still some plot lines left for her, needs to confront her trauma that mother caramel is dead but also that she wasn’t a good person.
I also think we need to see katakuri break free from her.
So yes I think there is an argument for big mom still having a role to play.

But what about kaido. By all means his story is over he got what he wanted a glorious death.
But I do not think this is it.

But instead of kaido returning to play a major role I think we will see something a proud warrior like kaido would find humiliating, he will lose his conscious mind.

And it got me thinking, what if he’s not the only one ?
Well to go over the quick points again.
In impel down we met the 4 jailer beasts and crocodile explained they were awakened zoan users.
In a recent sbs a person asked oda if it’s true they had their wills taken over by the will of their fruits and oda said yes and that Lucci is at risk.

Oda has explained several times that zoan users are the most at risk from their awakened powers as there’s a chance their minds will be taken by the will of the fruit.

After kaido was truly defeated by luffy

I can see it being that kaido mental capacity finally broke and the will of the fruit took over him.

Several times in the story we seen big mom yelling at kaido trying to get him to follow her to submit to her to which he refuses but now in this state I believe he will just be nothing more than a oaf a simple minded being with no individuality following orders. A fitting end for a villain like kaido.
Big mom will take advantage of this and order him around using him to back herself up.

I believe Luffy will lose control here’s why.

In Shonen anime there’s sometimes a moment where a character loses their minds to their new power like ichigo with his hallow powers in bleach or Naruto with his 9 tails form.
For luffy it will be Nika.
In impel down when we met the jailer beasts crocodile explained they were awakened zoan users who lost their will to the fruits.
Years later with lucci someone asked the question if that’s what happened to them and Ida said yes and lucci is in danger.

When luffy went g5 with kaido he asked who luffy was and seemed relieved when luffy confirms he was luffy.
I also find it odd that a yonko crew of zoan fruit users don’t have 1 confirmed awakened user.
Furthermore kaido did reveal a much more bigger stronger form but only after he got drunk I think this was his awakening.
So what’s the deal ? Kaido doesn’t use awakening as there is a risk of him losing his mind to the will of the fruit and he got drunk in order to null the senses of the fruit allowing him to use the awakened form.

So if Kaido is at risk then to is luffy.

It’s been noted how luffys off when he transforms how his laugh is different, how he was laughing and bouncing around feet away from vegapunks dead body.

Luffy is a bit extra in this form.

So in his fight with imu I do think there will be a moment where he goes g5 and pushes himself, runs out of stamina and then beats his heart like with kaido to awaken his g5 form again. He will keep pushing himself and eventually he will be “killed”by imu.

Then when luffy falls back we hear the drums of liberation once more and luffy transforms this time he will be even more like nika
His hair will be more wild, he will have circular eyes like imu, he will pick up a shield and pull the sword out of jarul head.

When imu arrived we saw trees and buildings coming alive as they begin to sing for imu, similar we will see the same thing open except now everything is laughing in hysterical laughter.

Gunko said hee biggest fear was Nila and that fear comes from imu. Nika is imu biggest fear.

In ancient Africa they believed in a god that came around and made people dance and laugh with joy. His name was joy boy and while some saw him as this great being others feared him as he would make them dance and laugh till they died of exhaustion. This reminds me of the victims of the smile fruit.

Nika will fight imu and push him back and when imu is forced to flee all seems good until people noticed that Luffy isn’t stopping that he is still running around laughing and now turns his attention to the giants as he uses his powers to make them laugh and dance with him.

The straw hats will see the problem and try to stop him but are also falling victim.

It is then Loki who fights Nika despite his injuries and manages to just barely knock him out.
Nika power fades as he turns back to Luffy and like the previous times he’s going to be warn out and look elderly but will be passed out for a few days.

That is what I think will happen.
