Never expected this to happen

Most of my garden is in my front yard. Went out side around 8pm and caught a random guy stealing from my garden. Wound up getting into a physical fight and my wife had to call the cops. My neighbors herd it and thankfully came out to help. We traded some punches but I was able to sit on his chest and a neighbor helped restrain him till cops got here. Turns out it’s a guy that just moved in 5 houses down from me. I don’t enjoy fighting but great full i was able to keep him here till cops showed up. Will probably have a black eye in the morning but this is absolutely crazy. After 11 years or gardening on this property never thought I would have to experience this. If he came over and asked for some stuff I would have happily shared but this is unacceptable.

Edit: as some have pointed out I should have stated this form the start. I was not the one that got physical to start. I caught the guy and said “wtf do you think your doing” and he threw a punch to my face which lead to the physical altercation.

Just met my new neighbor

Probably the wrong place for this but thought it was a good story to share. New couple moved in next door. Guy came over to introduce himself, he was wearing a snapon shirt so was I. It felt like the spider man meme we both pointed at the snapon logos and had a good laugh before we got to talking. Long story short we spent last night sitting in my back yard by a fire drinking beers with both our wives texting us when we were coming back inside.

Online surveys are real…

Took online survey in March last week got this letter and 100 dollar snap on gift card in the mail. 100% real and yesterday put the gift card towards my tool box payment through my dealer.

Hired my intern as a full time employee today and bought him his very first snap on tools

Young kid just turned 18, has an unbelievable desire to learn and picks up on shit very quick. After 6 months we brought him in full time and when the snap man came in today i decided I was gonna buy him his first couple snap on tools as a surprise. My dealer Loved what I was doing and threw in a free ratchet for me to gift him on top of what I already bought him. When I gave him the tools i thought he was gonna cry and just jumped at me and gave me a hug followed by texting all his friends to show them what he got. I look forward to seeing the tech he becomes.

One of the worst jobs of my career

Boss just bought a beater truck for his property, 2009 Tacoma and he wanted new ac compressor. Asked me if I’d do it after hours and he’d pay me my hourly rate cash. Normally an easy job but this truck is rusted to fucking shit and on-top of that he just had it sprayed with like 20 gallons of fluid film. Truck in good condition this would take me 1
Hour or less, this bitch took me 4 hours and that was just getting it out haven’t even pit the new one in yet and I have to throw away my clothes cuz of the amount of fluid film on them. Both ac lines snapped, two bolts holding the compressor snapped. Had to remove one side of the sway bar to pull the compressor bolts snapped. Drilling and welding got all the bolts out and tapped, yea I know I’m getting paid but the fact me and all my tools and my fucking tool box are covered in fluid film makes me want to punch my boss in the dick. Thank for coming to my Ted talk.

Edit: I don’t mind difficult jobs this wasn’t even that bad. It’s the fluid film that’s got me pissed off.

So many mites!!!

This is a first for me. After years of doing this never had this problem. My pile is cooking around 130-140 daily but I still have about 10 different types of mites in the thousands. There is about 10 trillion mite eggs visible on the cardboard cap layer. Wtf is going on?
