How many people do you think actively play Overwatch worldwide?

While Steam shows its player count, it only makes up a portion of all overwatch players, most of which use Battle net.

While there is no real public number, how many people do you think actively play overwatch when inclduing both steam and battlenets various servers?

With a multitude of the February 2025 survey skins being added to the game in the last 2 seasons, what survey skins do you think and/or hope we'll see come to the game in the upcoming seasons?

In seasons 1 and 2 we saw the voidwalker, fairy, and apocalypse warrior skins from the survey get added to the game(apocalypse warrior coming out May 26), on top of some individual skins from surveys being added to other sets, such as Illaris Lunar Eclipse survey skin and Doomfists Court of Roses Skin

That being said, which survey skins do you think/hope will come to the game next?

With next season seeming to revolve around Japan with the new tokyo night map and the new Hashimoto hero, id assume the survey skins on slide 2 and 4 would be most likely to come, that or slide 1 if they go for the more cyber-theming for the city map.

Who were your initial mains when you first started playing and who are your mains now?

Only really started playing during OW2's launch.

i've come to realize all the heroes i mained and thought i was good at back then were just because all my mains used to be all the beginner friendly heroes, makes sense i guess tho.

Favorite set of skins this season?

Lotta new shop skins this season, I know one of them aren't out yet but just in terms of visual appeal I wonder what y'alls favorite was this season? Doesn't have to be just ones you bought, overwatch skin prices are a bitch sometimes.

With some heroes previously talked about to be getting no skins, is there any other heroes you feel like are getting neglected that you hope will get the same treatment as them in the future?

Correction for title: please read this instead as it makes more sense

"With some heroes previously talked about to be getting no skins now getting more acknowledgment, is there any other heroes you feel like are still getting neglected that you hope will get the same treatment as them in the future?"

Could be someone I forgot to mention here.

So nice they just had to do it twice

He feels a little out of place, though i guess hes the only design motif who wasn't in the original survey set.

What would you think of Blizzard actually killing off heroes in the story in the future?

personally I’d find it to be a welcome addition, trying to tell a story in a live service multiplayer game likely comes with a TON of restrictions, but killing a character off dosent mean they’d have to be removed from the game

I really like this small interaction

video source: OverwatchInteractions on Youtube

kinda nice to see rein talk to his past to someone, I do like when he’s just a funny loud German warrior guy but admittedly i get tired of it after a while. So it’s always nice to see him be more solemn and calm about something.

That and venture promising to remember Reinherdts story is pretty sweet, its nice to see someone actually look up to rein, as a lotta interactiona kinda have him be the butt of other people’s jokes.

How interested I am in seeing more of each Overwatch hero(story and character wise)

Overwatch has never really been a masterclass in writing, but I do find some of the characters and concepts it introduces to be interesting.

Though realistically most of the heroes should be in the "Wish they got more fleshed out" tier, as with the way live-service games function you aren't really allowed to have a character undergo significant character or personality changes, thus the story is a little limited.

I know Juno has that new webcomic, but when it comes to comics its one of the more boring ones i've read, it just feels kinda safe and generic.

Actually that is a gripe i've had with overwatch's storytelling, its a PG-13 game and yet 90% of the dialogue and events feel like theyre writing it for a 2010 PG film, I get they wanna appeal to a broader audience but a LITTLE BIT of edge would be appreciated

could be something I forgot to list here.

overall I’d say still say season 1’s finale har been one of the most psychologically damaging moments in his life along with onenof the most physically damaging moments of his life(besides whenever he sees conquest). but season 4’s finale feels like it’s gonna shape up to be reallllyyyy shitty for him too.

Btw for the second image, the whole Anissa encounter, Amber breakup, and Ansgtrom appear to have happened in the same night(i Assume the cruise thing just was in a different timezone), so both episode 7 and 8 count for that day

"Julius Caesar. One of Earth's greatest conquerors, reduced to this."

A (formerly) world-conquering alien who's Empire operates on a galactic scale showing some sort of respect for a conqueror from Earth who only ruled across a continent is kinda neat.

That and I like the idea of Nolan learning the history of Earth when he was still new to it all, Im curious to what he thought of some people and events

Of course you’d need to make the fin on the smaller side or have it be semi-transparent to avoid people thinking it’s a hitbox and have some water vfx surrounding it so it matches with the size of burrows model, but If/when this skins added to the game, I hope they do something like this.

Not surprised by some of these results, but am surprised at how torb, bastion, and zarya have literally ZERO survey skins.

Had no system to actually sort these and just counted it individually, so....might be some mistakes here and there

right side of each tier is the lower number, and left side is the higher number in the first tier list

I get it gives access to highground quicker but c'mon the whole defending team is gonna be guarding that tiny space, at least try the new route they added with the rework
