Definitely used more random colors on the 2nd picture. The 3 tone unicorn is interesting 😭 for lack of a better word

It’s difficult using Amazon paper as everyone knows. It’s a learning curve from my previous coco wyo book.

I think the first page turned out good besides obvious stealing lines.

How is the color scheme on the first page? Is it too much? I don’t know much on color theory but I don’t color theory for dummies 😭 from my library

2nd page with the fishes, I’m struggling to pick a color for the main fish bottom left. I’m using ohuhu pastel + sweet markers on this page, so I was thinking a muted light purple so it doesn’t steal from my big fish which I feel like is my anchor on the page.

Any thoughts and feedback is welcome!

I’m so happy how it came out! I personally think it’s my best blending yet. Especially the bottom right flower!

I would love to hear some thoughts or comments/feedback on the blending that I talked about

I haven’t taken an art class since middle school but I want to learn more about depth, value and focal point.

My plan was having a warm top to contrast with the cool/darker “believe” then go to a warmer tone for “yourself” with a cooler background. Also I used artistro acrylic markers.

Questions

1. How are the color choices? Does it feel cohesive with my plan?
2. Does my picture feel flat or random?

I used chatGPT for “Live” & “L” in laugh, other than that I totally winged it. I feel like it turned out pretty well besides uneven lines on the circles and going outside the lines. Which is stuff I really struggle with.

My next page I’m going to wing it again but I hope to stick to 3-5 colors per section of the page. Unless it’s supposed to be 3-5 colors the whole page, idk 🤷‍♂️

I really want to learn advance techniques but I don’t know if I even understand the fundamentals yet
