Baby on Date night

My husband may still be at work when it’s time for me to go out with my friends to a restaurant. Do you all take your babies out if you have a date night? He is two month and we would be there by 7, and leave by 9. I usually don’t like taking him out past 7. But he doesn’t even go to bed until 10 anyway..

SANDY AND PETER

Sandy family is just as delusional as Peter was during his custody battle. Just unreal.

Sandy’s family is way more scandalous. How do you take a child away from his mother while she is mourning your daughter?? Just disgusting.

I feel so bad for Kerry. She literally has been through it throughout the entire show…

Firefighting is risky business. Once I watched Station 19, I grew a new respect for firefighters. I cried so hard watching that show.

What is this?

I don’t think it’s a carpet beetle because it’s very tiny and black. They have been flying on my walls and on me. How do I get rid of them. I have been squishing them nonstop.
I know these aren’t great pictures but they are so small.

Bald Men

I was born a bit later in the 90s, but I wanna know were women attracted to balding men? Mark was a really nice guy but I can’t imagine him being with so many women who were a bit out of his league. As a person, I love Mark. Just wondering….

I don’t get it

Is Abby some type of enigma? I don’t like her character at all or her whole storyline. I just don’t see the excitement. Then, the whole relationship with Luka, then John. I can’t understand it. To me she seem so much older than John and just didn’t match with Luka at all. Call me a hater, but someone explain the appeal to me

Changing Nipples/2 month old

Okay.

My 2. 1/2 month old baby has been eating on a new schedule. I don’t know it yet but he has paused on the cluster feeding. What level nipple should he be at? He is at one now for the Dr. Browns, Avent, and TippyTee, but I’m wondering should I change it to level 2. He will drink some bottles but sometimes he won’t finish or refuse a bottle with a certain nipple. I am guessing it because he can’t get the milk out like he wants. Please advise. Lord, I will have to buy MULTIPLE new nipples.

If your supply drops can you get it back?

I have to be honest. I haven’t been taking care of myself. I’m dehydrated, don’t eat a lot or healthy, and I don’t pump consistently. I’m 10 weeks ppd and I’m trying to do better to get some milk. Is there still a chance I can gain back milk production?

FYI living with my bf and his father and it’s exhausting. They cook but I don’t like that food. I can’t eat in front of them. They don’t usually have nothing in the house unless I get it. Also I don’t wanna cook all the damn time! And when I do… they eat it.

Season 5 episode 14

First off…. Where did the hell did Ricky’s father come from all of sudden while his wife was dealing with their son. He really pissed me off saying someone murdered his son ( even though they kinda did), but he was dying anyway!!

Second, why on earth would his mother essentially snitch on Doug about the machine. She did all that begging and crying for them to do something just for her to throw them under the bus.

Third, I know Doug comes from a good place but why on Earth would you do that? The boy was dying anyway!!! Just love living on the edge.

Fourth, I feel so bad for Carol. She is madly in love with Douglas, but he is just like his father in some ways. Talking about he can’t do this…. After all of what Carol has done. Poor thing. I know about that mad love… very dangerous.

Fifth, Jennie….. I’m just so sorry. I wish I could kick Ale’s ass for you.

One more thing… the Nigerian couple deserved better. To be tortured, raped, then stabbed and remorseful… it’s just A LOT.

SPECTRA 1 - Pump

EDITED: IT WAS THE DUCK BILL

Does anyone know why one pump might pump harder than the other. I have taken this thing apart numerous times and can’t get one to pump as hard

Btw is pumping supposed to hurt?

The pump that has a strong suction literally pulls my whole nipple.

The picture is the pump that doesn’t have string suction.

Consent Forms

Hello,

I am making consent forms for a study want to know how you all go about getting their signatures in the document. I guess I am asking how you all create a document that you can add an automatic signature.

It’s amazing..

It’s amazing how someone can leave their child with no excuse, come back a year later, and ask for custody back after being sober for 5 months. Chile.
Sister or not… i do believe in forgiveness.
The justice system is all messed up as well because what if she relapse and the baby is in danger? Idk I hated the situation.

How do you all pump on the go?

I am trying to be a consistent pumper but I live my life on the go! I need suggestions and tips!

How do you sore the milk?
How do you clean the pumps?
How often do you pump?
What if you’re taking a walk or in a public place that isn’t suited for nursing?

Please help.

I almost lost it...

I just had a baby in May. I decided to come live with my fiancé until we actually move in together. This decision was not made lightly because his father lives with him, and I don't care for his father. Now, his father is not a bad person, but he is annoying as hell. Making commands and saying unnecessary comments. Again, not anything bad, just annoys the hell out of me.

Anyway, the baby was crying today because I could not get the gas out of him. His dad eventually resolved this issue and then he became hungry again. Now, please correct me if I am wrong, but don't newborns cry a lot to communicate their needs? More often than not, that signals gas, hunger, or a dirty diaper. I asked that because why did his father come up to me and tell me that the baby is crying too much and he doesn't like it..... I then asked him what he was going to do about it, and he just said he didn't like it. Mind you, he hasn't held the baby for more than 5 minutes since he was born and has not offered any help to solve the issue, yet he has so many insights since he raised 5 kids... 35 years ago. It also pisses me off because my fiancé claims his father is more than capable of watching the baby if we need him to, when he has not shown that in the past 4 weeks we have been here....He probably could, but I haven't seen it since every time the baby cries in his hand, he passes him to me.

I am a first-time mom, so could someone explain to me..... do newborns not cry often? The crying doesn't bother me as much because I know that's what babies do, and there must be something wrong if he is crying. However, I could be wrong.

Identity Crisis... again

Hello all.

I am a ftm, 5 weeks postpartum. Ever since I started my PhD program, I have been battling with my identity. Fast forward... I made it to my 4th year and had my son this past May. I just knew I was going to be the best mother because I had motherly traits, was the eldest sibling, and knew I was going to love my newborn like no other. I feel like I am having another identity crisis because I feel like everything I have done so far has been wrong, and my husband has corrected it or done a better job. My husband, who is like heaven-sent for me, has cared for our son ten times better than I have. It's like I carried the baby so he could have motherly instincts. He can brup him, soothe him, hold him, and almost do everything better. I feel so incompetent at this point because why am I even here? Honestly, the same thing my husband has done for the baby, he has done for me since we have been together. He is so patient and helpful in every way.

Some days work and other days don’t

Hello,
3 weeks postpartum. I am exclusively pumping. I will admit, I have not been consistent. I’ve been more consistent in the last theee days and yesterday went good. My question is, is there ever a time you don’t get anything in the pump? I’m pumping right now and nothing is coming out.
