Drone graveyard on scorched enclave

Turns out mechs absolutely despise these things and will go to the ends of the earth to blow them up.

I've never seen so many of them bunched up like this before.

Loot was great though!

Path to pro: worth doing?

Been working here for two years, became full time in plumbing a while back and gained a lot of knowledge on the job and off the job helping people and taking small jobs of unrelated department skills from time to time. (Wood working, basic HVAC maintenance)

I recently dove into the path to pro website and when I was doing some of my training out of curiosity, it seems rather robust, although I've heard nobody talk about it outside one of the managers mentioned it to me that existed.

I want to explore and build things, interact and learn a trade, or at least be knowledgeable in life when times need said information.

Do you have any experiences with this program? If so, how is/was it for you? Any insights on what to look into? Would love anything to know about it if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Coming back to the game after a while, I'm actually loving the tunnels

A lot of these big areas give serious fallout 1/2, blame! vibes with its architecture, I'm unsure if they were inspired by that, but I'm loving its art direction. Been playing with my buddy who just picked it up and we've been grinding the game for a few days consecutively.

Question regarding it.

I died in stairway gate during a night shift and I re ran it and I didn't find my stash because it was during the day shift. Is that a new thing or was it always like that? Mildly annoyed because I had a lot of good loot.

Cheers, scavs

Friends game keeps crashing

Hey there, my friend recently purchased the game and we've been playing together, but when we do his game crashes in game.

Here is what we have done so far to diagnose the issues:

His crash logs suggested that discord had something to do with a timeout to a server causing problems, so we now in game. While, it remedied the problem a little bit, but it is inconsistent. One game, we can play and extract, and then another will be a hard crash and restarting his computer.

Bios update:

He updated his bios as in the notes it gave an update to Tpm, which on some ue5 forums regarding crashing, it was a common problem, although that has not seemed to have worked either.

Verifying game files:

He has verified his game files and it hasn't really fixed any issues.

His Internet connection is good, his system specs are in check and meet the requirements of the game, his CPU, GPU are not overheating and are within safe temperatures and clock speeds. Xmp is enabled and is at a stable speed.

He has seemingly no issues playing alone, but whenever I join him, or join me, he seems to be the only one having issues.

No custom launch options are set in steam, and all system settings are default.

His PC specs:

Windows 11 home

Nvidia GeForce gtx 3060ti

And ryzen 7 5700x 4.6ghz

32 gigabytes ddr4 ram @ 3600mhz

I've never came across a problem like this in any game, let alone this one before. If anyone can help diagnose the problem, it would be much appreciated.

New update is fun

Stopped playing for a while since I got burned out, I'm loving the new regions and the pitfalls they added. The wildlife all around us is pretty cool and breathes life into a game where you're all alone.

Can't wait to sink more hours into it.

M18 bandsaw upright stand

Hey there, I've been thinking about getting into woodworking/carpentry/Luther-ing, and I've been working on turning a (very small) part of my garage into a work shop for projects. My space is quite limited and I'll most likely have to share a work space with multiple tools (putting them aside, underneath the space, or somewhere away) and I was wondering if this can cope with wood working on a day to day basis.

Wood variety would be Maple, cedar, mahogany, spruce maybe softer woods too. Wood sizes will most likely vary from 1/4-2inches in diameter.

While I am not on the m18 platform yet, I do plan on buying the router, circular saw, lights and some other things.

My biggest concern is the longevity of the saw itself when it comes to constantly cutting and being in a more permanent area as I don't really go anywhere with my tools unless it's absolutely necessary, and a bandsaw isn't usually on my list of things to take. I live near a HD, so replacement blades won't be much of an issue.

Another reason why I am considering the battery powered saw over the cord is it's placement in the garage as I'm quite far away from an outlet. I do have a long heavy duty extension cord, but if I can keep my place tidy I would prefer it over that.

If you do recommend this, what batteries should I get for it?

I would assume anything past the 6.0's.

Thanks for your time!

I like the really weird things, and this is right up my alley. In standard tuning, it plays absolutely amazing out of the box.

Did some upgrades at Sweetwater:

Tusq nut upgrade over plastic

Professional setup - truss rod action adjustment

Gonna replace the knobs with metal ones, since the plastic ones it came with are just horrible imo, maybe locking tuners in the future

I am new to gutiars in general still, I'm still learning everyday, paring this with my 7 string Schecter and my 5 string bass, and i wanted something that I can do some interesting things with in the genres i wanted to learn how to write for. Thall, djent, maybe grunge and doom metal.

The low gloss finish is my favorite thing about the guitar aesthetic wise as you can feel the wood grain underneath, and it's just a beautiful instrument. I was very fortunate enough to get the last one on SW before they went on back order.

Maybe I'll get the squier bass vi for the triple single coils for some more fun in the future, but until then I'm gonna enjoy this.

Happy playing! 😁

I'm relatively new to the guitar world, but it helped me get me in a better mental head space. It's been a fun learning experience, and been inspired by Mick Gordon, and Doom metal, grunge, and other genres, I've been learning a lot as I go. My 7 string Schecter has been my go to weapon of choice learning riffs and even making my own when I don't have a lot of time. I discovered the "Bass VI" style gutiar, and I discovered that Ibanez made a "successor" style gutiar that was this. I fell in love with it and saved up a good amount to get it along with some upgrades. I can't wait to learn more and learn this one!

Happy playing. 😁

Today I went to do laundry and I accidentally left it in my pants pocket, and went through the whole cycle. Went to put it in the dryer and heard loud clanking noises for a few seconds, rushed in and saw it in the back of the dryer. The charging light comes on for a few seconds and dims to off.

Any ideas on how to potentially save it? If not, Rip Sony walkman nw-a306, you were the best

My 1tb SD card survived at least.
