How many of you have favorite songs from the series that mean a lot to you? This can be from streaming or original TV airings.
Myself personally, one of my favorites are E.M.C and Torturous by Turnerjoy are up there on the list.
List any headcanons you have for Fuko (before and after her coma)
curious to what y’all say! :)
Tell me why the fuck is a YouTube video I am watching, restarts after I pause it for a long time?
This cannot be happening rn
Am I the only one who feels like Death Note could be on the block in two years to celebrate 20 years of the anime’s English dub?
I mean, it was on Adult Swim back in 2008-2010, so it makes sense.
Wrote this one a while ago, because I believe most of my poems, are original more so than in 2017 🩸
By the way, this is how I write my poetry. The lower case style is based by Rupi Kaur, who inspired me to write poetry in that way, but I am writing my own poems better than previously whereas I write a new one after reading whatever poetry book it is I am reading. I don’t use punctuation in my poems too, but they somewhat are understandable (if not to you, that’s okay) ❤️
Wrote this poem on Gypsy because for once, I said so and it’s that accurate
I feel so bad for those who haven’t finished the anime entirely
Imagine watching episode 16 of After Story and thinking Nagisa really is dead. Only to realize, that was in that timeline. The newer one is where she is alive and made it through childbirth and her sickness. Anyways, I’m saying this because I believed she was dead for good and having only known episode 16 when I was 12, says a lot about me then. I had never watched any other anime other than Pokemon or Bakugan (at least in the first season) and my knowledge of anime as a whole was not well known.
Had this random thought yesterday and I’d like to talk about it
So, anyone who saw The Kids of Degrassi Street, remember Ida? She was that girl who made a short film on garbage, which was confusing as war. Well, this made me think of a Next Class one time episode plot. And it goes like this. As shown and revealed, Zoe was an actress her whole life up until season 13 when she was 15-16 and a sophomore.
Now, season 4 is about two years later (or three, I can’t remember right now) and she gets a text message that’s cryptic from a filmmaker who lived in Degrassi Street and attended Degrassi Elementary School. This is where we see Ida’s character once again for the first time since The Kids of Degrassi in 1985 and she wants Zoe in her movie. Zoe, having stopped acting because of her mother making her doing it her whole life from infancy until she was almost 16, is hesitant but then decides to try to give it a shot. Now, I have also mentioned that this idea more and in it, I say that Ida is also a lesbian because Zoe Newman (her actress) teaches gay studies and is LGBT+ herself.
Back to what I was saying. Ida talks to Zoe about how she herself can relate to her too, they are both into women and Zoe learns more about how there are producers and writers that work in the entertainment industry and still can be gay and lesbian. So she asks Ida about her coming out story, which Ida herself says her mother never accepted her (different time as this was the 80s after all), to which sadly her mother passed away several years after. As for her brother Fred (whom we also have seen in The Kids of Degrassi Street) wasn’t either.
So, that’s really all I want to say on the Degrassi subreddit about Zoe’s character on Degrassi, specifically Next Class as I really had this idea that seemed interesting to say the least.
I once thought of this years ago, but I’m curious to know what you think below of my comparison of This Could Be Anywhere In The World and I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness.
I just remember being like 19, thinking they somewhat sound a bit similar in their lyric notes: “this city, this city is haunted” and “I believe in a thing called love” maybe I’m overthinking it. But this is a random shit post I wanted to say and then move on after.
Headcanon on Ryuk’s human name and cause of death
For a name, I haven’t thought of it. But I assumed he would’ve died as a human by having lung cancer from smoking a bunch of cigarettes, which is why as a Shinigami, he ends up addicted to apples and describes that addiction like cigarettes to Light. It’s just a thought I had, sounds crazy, I know.
Thinking about this and it made me realize this
Had Kristin Herrera (who played Dana for anyone who doesn‘t take the the time to realize that’s her actress) not quit acting in 2008, the slim chances of her on Zoey 101 again in season 3-4, would be a none. She would’ve been 17-18, which are the ages of junior and senior years of high school and it would’ve been hard for her to get back to the show, since she was probably focused heavily on school irl then, hence why she quit acting at 19 (filming her last project then being General Hospital at that age) so she can go to college/university. I wanted to discuss this because it made me really now somewhat understanding why Kristin’s acting career ended originally in 2008.
Went to Walmart, passed by the Asian foods aisle and look what I found 😭
The way I buy so many journals and write one at a time for poetry mainly
My amount of journals is huge, like insanely huge. But I’m trying to not buy as many of them as my family doesn’t like me doing so.
Genuine thoughts on seasons 4 and 5?
I feel like most of it, wasn’t that good. But some episodes were also really great too. You are more than welcome to reply to this post.
Tomorrow’s poem but I’m posting it today so I won’t forget after going to the gym
As someone who writes poetry and posts it on social media for fun, no attention and money, comment down below which journal I should definitely write in this year for a color era!
Assistant librarian at my former job at the school library for forbidding a child (7, 1st grade then) to read a book in Spanish, saying they don’t speak the language and should not read the book they were going to check out.
And just so you know, I no longer even volunteer at that job anymore because of the assistant librarian herself making my last two work days really bad and I quit, since she was unprofessional and ableist around me, a neurodivergent woman. I only made this post because I am recalling these moments at my old job and want to share them.
