So right now I own a Xbox Series X with Game Pass Ultimate till 2028 and upgraded my Switch 1 to a Switch 2 last week for cheap. I'm loving the Switch 2 so far and Tears of the Kingdom is finally properly playable in handheld compared to the NS1.

I'm loving the handheld experience so much I'm considering buying more non-Nintendo games on the NS2 instead of playing them on my Series X, for example BALL x PIT and the Hades franchise. I've played both games on my Xbox either on the TV or through Cloud on my 7 inch phone with a Gamesir G8+ controller grip. Basically a Cloud Handheld.

Xbox is my main platform, but I really enjoy the Switch 2. Above mentioned games are however available on Game Pass which would mean "double dipping". At the same time, BALL x PIT is less than €10 right now on the eShop and I noticed Hades was recently like €7 on sale (but I missed it).

Do I continue to use my Switch 2 just as an exclusive machine or not.. The games I mentioned are perfect for a handheld experience but I do have a handheld experience through the Cloud for now but it's just not the same. I considered an XBOX Ally or XBOX Ally X but I just find them extremely expensive. The reguler XBOX Ally also feels like I'm buying a machine that needs a lot of tweaking to play games, despite the above mentioned games not being really heavy hitters in performance.

I might buy a future Xbox handheld, but right now that's not an option. Not going to buy another one after just buying a Switch 2 as an upgrade. Am I too invested in keeping my games attached to my Xbox account and achievements? Feels like I should let the whole platform thought go and just play the games on where they are played best or most convenient?

So we bought a Switch OLED a couple of year ago as a fun family console for party games mostly. My main platform is Xbox for general gaming, but we do love to play on the Nintendo and it just feels like a more classic gamiing machine focused on just fun. I bought Tears of the Kingdom as my first Zelda game but I have hard time playing it considering the 30fps with drops it delivers.

With the current market conditions and upcoming first (of very likely more) price hike, we are considering upgrading to the Switch 2 before things get even more out of hand and expensive. We are currently expecting our first child in October so we know the Switch will only be used more.

Right now, we don't play a ton on it. Every now and then we play some Mario Party or Kart together, a little bit of handheld gaming and thats it. If we are just judging the current use of it, there is no need for an upgrade now. But I'm also sure I won't be buying a €600 Switch 2 in a couple of years lol.

I do really want to give some more Nintendo games a try without the pressure of an overall social ecosystem and multiplayer driven experience pushing to grind or focus. I want to try to enjoy the simplicity and old school factor more, in handheld or docked and it seems the Switch 2 is just far more powerful and future Nintendo titles will likely be Switch 2 exclusive.

One concern I have is the lack of an OLED. Is it really much worse to look at the Switch 2 if you upgrade from a Switch 1 OLED? I also know an European revision is coming with a replaceable battery but that will likely be more expensive as well

I have an opportunity to buy a Switch 2 for around 400 now, but I do want to sell the Switch 1 OLED hoping to get around 200 for it since it looks like new. The second pair of joy cons can still be used on the Switch 2 so thats fine.

Thoughts?

Currently doubting between the Eufy C28 and the Roborock Qrevo S Pro. Both are similarly priced in sale at the moment. Some thoughts:

\- Roborock has a huge docking station and while it is white I don't like how cheap the watertanks on top look in comparison to the more streamlined design of the Eufy despite being black in a household with white walls, light PVC wood flooring and even some white furniture.

\- Eufy's mop seems very good but since it doesn't clean with hot water, how do you make sure bacteria die? I know you have to take parts out for manual cleaning like the scraper but how often to prevent smell?

\- regarding mopping, the Roborock could be set up to clean its mops with hot water after every zone which means I can make them as clean as often as I want. We still clean ourselves, the vacuum is an addition not a replacement. We dont leave stains or other trash on the floor for the robot to pick it up later, its more so as additional cleaning.

• We also have a smaller but thicker carpet in the living room with the couch that is going to be replaced by a 12cm height couch.

Ik ben laatst verwezen naar een post over waar je op moet letten bij bankstellen maar helaas is dat net niet voldoende. Het mist namelijk het stukje traagschuim op pocketveren. Het gaat over de Pronto Wonen pantini bank met novag onderstel en dan de keus tussen HR40 schuim (alles zijn vaste kussens) of pocketveren+vsc traagschuim.

Ik kom er niet wijs uit met de verkopers. De ene zegt ik heb de bank met pocketveren maar merk na 2 jaar wel wat de favoriete zitplekken zijn terwijl de ander HR schuim heeft (ook de pantini) en al jaren zonder verschil erop zit. We neigen naar HR, maar het is een moeilijke keus. De pocketveren bank is wel een paar honderd euro meerprijs, je zou dan ook meer verwachten qua duurzaamheid en kwaliteit lijkt me.

We hebben de Pronto Pantini bank gezien en overwegen onze huidige ermee te vervangen. Nu twijfelen we tussen de premium comfort (2 laags HR schuim) of supreme (pocketveren met vsc traagschuim). Heeft iemand ervaringen hiermee? Ik heb twijfels of vsc schuim langdurig goed blijft maar weet niet de HR waarde van de premium. De basis is wel met novagveren. Twijfel vooral vanwege het traagschuim

For the first time in a very long time, Xbox Series X|S saw a a 12% rise in sales in UK, helped by console exclusive Forza Horizon 6.

Personally, I think it shows that without even hiding it is coming to PS5 they still managed to increase console sales with their games because they actually put a lot of effort behind the Xbox branded marketing for their heavy hitter AAA release. It shows delivering actual great games with heavy console marketing does have an impact, especially if there is some form of exclusivity involved as well
